Offered by Hawaii Nautical, Scuba West Oahu offers an exciting experience on the Oahu coast—home to some of Hawaii’s most distinct and remote dive sites. Guests can enjoy a ride in a comfortable cruise ship, as well as a snorkeling trip around shipwreck sites, caves, reefs and more at the second shallow stop on the trip. Experiences include scuba gear, snacks, sodas and other essentials.

The Oahu coast is home to some of the most diverse and uncrowded dive sites, including wrecks, caves, and reefs. Seeing dolphins or turtles is likely along the way to the scuba spots. Attentive guidance by our divemasters and instructors ensures beginners and experienced divers alike have the ultimate outing. Ride along guests can enjoy the cruise and snorkel at the second shallow stop.

Gear, snacks, sodas included. Free shuttle from Ko Olina. Waikiki shuttle to Waianae available at an additional fee (available in 2017). Check-in at 8:30 am at Waianae Boat Harbor for guests diving out on their own.

When booking, we need the following information:.
- Medical history form (emailed upon confirmed booking)
- Certification verification (must present at time of check-in)
- Must NOT be flying within 24 hours
- All divers' gear sizes (notate in special requirements field)
- Guests must speak fluent English

Everyone was super friendly. The drinks were great, and you couldn't beat the view. My Mother-in-law get seasick pretty easy, but the ride was flat enough, and gentle enough that she didn't have a problem. I would highly recommend this for a relaxing evening out. It looks good for kids too. I’d say five and up. You board the boat just north of Lava-lava on the beach. Hey, you could go there first and have a Mai-tai while your waiting.

My husband and I went diving with Hawaii Nautical on Oahu 5 days with friends. Great boat and crew! We saw turtles, spotted eagle rays, octopi, variety of morays and tons of fish, shrimp, crabs, white tip sharks, caverns and lots of swim throughs and structures. Mark and Warren were great at finding unique and rare wildlife. They definitely know the areas quite well. Wreck dives were stunning. Highly recommended ! We’ll be back next year!

My husband and I went diving with Hawaii Nautical on Oahu two days with friends. Great boat, gear and crew! The dive sites they chose for us were awesome with exceptional diversity of wildlife. We saw turtles, rays, octopi, variety of morays and tons of fish. Mark and Warren were great at finding unique and rare wildlife. They definitely know the areas quite well. Wreck dives were stunning. Highly recommend!!!

What an awesome adventure! I chose to do the afternoon turtle snorkel sail and lunch. Mitchell was my driver and since I was the first one picked up, we chatted for a bit enroute to get everyone else. The entire crew were amazing: Lisa, Greg, Don and Mitchell. It was a very chill and relaxed environment. The waves were a bit choppy as we were at sea shortly after 10am, but the weather was beautiful. Saw a lot of sea turtles. We have to remain 5 feet away from them at all times and I almost broke that "rule" until a member of the group pointed out one RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Wish I had a camera. Outside of the water being a bit rough because the tide was coming in, the entire outing was perfect. Lunch on the boat was sufficient and two alcoholic beverages are included with the price. The crew definitely earned their tip! We had roughly 39 people total. Once we were able to move about the boat there was plenty of space. If you forget to bring sunscreen there is some provided on board that's safe for the environment. Any spray on sunscreen must be used before getting on the boat. Early on it did feel like at times people in my tour were kind of on top of each other at first, but we were able to get more space as time passed on and people swam back to the boat. The guides do a really great job of pointing out the turtles! Totally worth it.

Totally exceeded expectations. We went on sunset cruise western Oahu. Brie and Brie were with us. Food was billed as pupu but served as dinner. Simple but just right. Drinks included! Great value as we booked through concierge at Marriott Vacation Club. We saw dolphins, took great photos, magnificent sunset as sail was hoisted. Totally recommend this excursion for all ages.

What do I need to know before diving?
Participants who are SCUBA certified must present proof of certification prior to diving. In addition, all participants must provide answers to all medical questions and prove that they are not flying or have not flown within 24 hours.
