from SeaWorld San Diego
SeaWorld San Diego ’s new dueling roller coaster, Tidal Twister, made its debut in 2019. A first of its kind adventure, this unique ride is an exhilarating experience that demonstrates the power of the ocean. Accelerating to 30 mph, riders will twist and bank as if riding the tide along a tight figure-8 track that includes a dynamic zero-G roll at the center section. Two trains, holding 16 passengers each, load at opposite ends of the figure-8 track and cross in the center with guests facing both forward and backward on the trains. A height requirement of only 48" makes this a perfect ride for younger guests and family members.

"Shows were Excellent"
January 2020 NEW
You're kind of busy running from show to show to make sure you get a good seat.
Do NOT buy the Reservations. Unless you get there 30-45 min early, they get full quick. All the other seats were just fine. So we wasted $20 there.
The All Day Food was worth it. The problem is you're running to shows so we only got to eat 3 times instead of our original plan of 4 or 5 times. We ate right at opening, then lunch somewhere then end of day. We tried to get in 1 more but lines were too long and we would have missed shows.

The shows will have you ooooing, ahhhhing and laughing. They were all great!

A very slow start to the visit. Arrived at 10 AM. Park Hours were 10-7. None of the rides were opened. Many didn't open until 11 or 12 and closed around 5 or 6. Funny, all the shops were open. Also, 3 of the main rides, observation tower, electric eel, Atlantis are closed. Placing that front and center on home page so we would have known before spending good money on tickets. We probably would have passed. Also, charging an extra $6 pp to ride the Bayside Skyride is just tacky. All rides or none should be included in admission price. Shows were good. I guess I am used to 6 Flags and Disney, but Seaworld was definitely several steps below in quality and value.

"Great park, reasonable pricing, alot of attractions""

This is a great park with a lot of attractions and great pricing and the food is good. Unlike Disney it has easy access to and from the highway, and you can park right next to the entrance so you don't have to walk for miles like the other theme parks. They have upgraded the park with the new Orca show that is very informative. I would definately recommend this park for families and friends.

"Family Vacation "

We came here on our family vacation with three young children. We went to the SeaWorld in Florida a couple years ago during off season and had a much nicer visit. This SeaWorld didn’t have as much to offer. There seemed to be less attractions and aquariums and there were no sit down restaurants. The park itself seemed dirtier and less appealing as well. I don’t think we’ll be back to this SeaWorld park.

"First time at Seaworld, Happy!"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

This was my first time visiting SeaWorld and I was wary due to all the bad press and poor reputation I had heard over the years, but I left impressed! I did find the park difficult to navigate with their map and there wasn't any really helpful signage around, and I couldn't ever get the map to pull up on the app. I saw the sea lion, dolphin, and chinese acrobat shows and all were interesting and unique compared to other shows I have seen in the past. I didn't get a chance to see the Orcas, but the rest of the park was lovely. I love roller coasters and their coasters were a lot of fun, but their line and ride management is poor - letting people cut and not managing single riders so many rides had close to half the seats empty.

We were due for a visit to Sea World since it had been about 10 years. My teenage boys were really wanting to go to check out the rollercoasters. If we were to do things again I would verify all the rollercoasters and attractions were open. 2 of the 4 major thrill rides were inoperable. I was also disappointed there was nothing going on at the Bayside Amphitheater. The plus to our visit was it wasn’t exceptionally crowded. The food was basic. My rotisserie chicken and chocolate cake were both a bit dry. They do allow you to bring food into the park so that was an added bonus. Overall we had an enjoyable day at Sea World.
