from SeaWorld San Diego
SeaWorld San Diego ’s new dueling roller coaster, Tidal Twister, made its debut in May 2019. A first of its kind adventure, this unique ride is an exhilarating experience that demonstrates the power of the ocean. Accelerating to 30 mph, riders will twist and bank as if riding the tide along a tight figure-8 track that includes a dynamic zero-G roll at the center section. Two trains, holding 16 passengers each, load at opposite ends of the figure-8 track and cross in the center with guests facing both forward and backward on the trains. A height requirement of only 48" makes this a perfect ride for younger guests and family members.

At SeaWorld® San Diego, you’ll connect with the sea and go on exhilarating rides and amazing adventures. Get up-close and personal with dolphins, penguins, sharks, and more. Plus, step beneath the waves and go hands-on at Explorer’s Reef™ - an all-new larger-than-life coral realm where you can touch a shark, a crab, or thousands of tiny cleaner fish that will nibble playfully at your fingers. It’s an exploratory adventure you’ll just have to see to believe.

it was an awesome experience, except that because it was Monday, there were some attraction or rides that was blocked out, it would have been nice if SeaWorld do not cut off any attraction or rides regardless of days.....

"Fantastic fun days for my family"

We bought the 7 day pass and went 3 times to SeaWorld. The shows do change a bit so it is worth going more than once. However, we were shocked by the $22 parking fee.

"Reasonable Entertainment"
August 2019
The price of Sea World on Tripster saved us a lot of money for four adults. The process is very easy to obtain on line. Our out of country guests were very impressed with the shows, the cleanliness and largeness of the park. There is plenty of room for people, strollers and wheelchairs to maneuver without being in anyone’s way. It was a fun day.

"Quiet day in October "
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed October 31, 2019 NEW
The day we visited was extremely quiet, a Thursday during the school year. We walked into every thrill ride with no wait, rode Manta 6 times. We are not big fans of the animal shows as they seem too much like a circus and instead went to the trainer talks. Seeing how they care for the animals was very reassuring since the place gets a lot of criticism. If the animal didn't want to train as we observed, no big deal. Many animal enclosures explained how the animals came to Sea World, turns out that many were abandoned or rescued. Picnics were not allowed in but we could take in snacks and water bottles. Parking was a ridiculous $25. Food is expensive-$15 to $20- and just okay. If they offer you a deal for the all day meals, it might be worth it. And contrary to another review, they do not give out straws (but reusable straws come with refillable cups) or plastic bags with purchase.

"Great to have a family friendly Halloween experience."
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed October 29, 2019 NEW
We went on the last weekend before Halloween / 2019. (10/27/2019). It was a cloudy day and a bit cool. Sometimes it can get very hot even though it is next to the ocean. We saw my favorite show. Clyde & Seymour, Seal and Otter show. It was great as usual. The dolphin show, wasn't much of a show, mostly educational talking about the dolphins as we watched them swim around. (yawn) They had lots of treat stations giving out free candy. Lines were long, but went fast. I took off 1 star for high food and drink prices. TIP: Bring your own food. Go to Subway, or any sandwich place, bring your own reusable sport bottle for water. They allow you to bring in your own food and sit at any table to enjoy a picnic lunch. Do you really want to pay $9.99 for a 12 oz beer on tap?
