"Best Day of My Life!!"
March 2020
Amazing park!! Surprisingly not super crowded. Food, music, rides, atmosphere all fit for kids and adults alike. Loved Happy Potter Wizarding World and the delicious food at the Leaky Cauldron. Even though my husband lost his phone on a ride, the lost and found team was able to get it back to us. Never thought that would happen. We stayed ALL DAY and into the night. I could not have been happier with spending Christmas day in Universal!!

"5 Day Universal pass"
February 2020
We Bought a 5 day park to park pass from Tripster and collected tickets through will call with out an issue. First day we visited Universal studios and this has Diagon Alley, and Kings Cross station with platform 9 and 3/4. which is very popular for the Harry Potter fans. The Simpson fans will also like it here with the Simspon ride, Moes, the kwiki mart and you can eat food from the eateries that are on the simpsons like the famous Krusty burger and sample a Duff Beer. Island of Adventure has Hogsmeade and you can catch the hogworts express from universal studios to island of adventure Hogsmeade if you have a park to park pass. the ride is different depending on which way you travel. Plan you trip to get there at 9 and go for the HP rides first up as you will still have about a 1 and half hour wait if you dont have a fast pass. having a 5 day pass we did all rides and didnt mind the queues. We visited Volcano Bay on one day to break things up and had a good time relaxing doing the water rides with out the extremely long queues. They use a watch that acts as your card and can hold spots in the queue and you can purchase using it so you dont need money in your pocket. We enjoyed the universal orlando resort over Disney on this trip.

Tip: Get there at 9 so you can get into the lines for the major actractions or purchase a fast pass if you have limited time.

"Amazing Trip from Tripster"
January 2020
We loved our trip to Universal!! We had to shift our date last minute due to unforeseen family issues. Tripster refunded us fully and set us up for a new date with no trouble at all! Was so helpful and accommodating - the park was so much fun, so glad we got the two day pass so we could explore in some time and not rush our vacation. We rode every ride and got there nice and early for Harry Potter World. No need for fastpass if you go in the offseason.

"Great experience, but too many technical delays in popular rides"
January 2020
It was my first time going to such a resort, and I was amazed by how much there was to do and how fun it was. However, after two days of seeing it I felt like I saw everything that was worth it. Needless to say, since I bought 5 days, I went on most rides multiple times.
The very popular rides (all Harry Potter, Transformers, Spiderman, Hulk, Kong) have long lines and special single rider lines. The single rider lines are much shorter, but you are missing out on interesting decorations/movies/experiences, so I also went in the regular lines to see those things.
For people without children, the must experience rides in my opinion are: Hagrid, Forbidden Journey, Escape from the Gringotts, Transformers, Skull Island - Kong, Spiderman, Hulk, Hollywood Rockit, The Simpsons, Ripley Falls, Shrek... Ok, all Thrill and 3D & 4D things are must see, but above are the most memorable IMO.
Don't forget to download the Universal Orlando app to see wait times and maps, set alarms for low wait times and such things.
It is also important to get the Park to park pass to go on the Hogsmeade train, an enjoyable experience and it is different in each of the 2 stations. the King's Cross has the magical mirror where it seems you go through the wall.
Some of the Kid rides are super nice too, like E.T. and Minions.
Long story short, most things are worth seeing. As for shows, the Poseidon one really impressed me.
Volcano Bay was really underwhelming after going to the main parks, the only things worth experiencing are Krakatau aqua coaster, Maku of Maku and Puihi of Maku, then the ika Moana ones.
...
I liked Universal a lot, so I ended up upgrading to a 1 year Seasonal Pass...

Everyone should check out my video of the raptor encounter: https://youtu.be/lzqR-PkH9b8
If the link doesn't work, search for "Making velociraptor jealous by flirting with its trainer- Blue raptor encounter at Universal Studios".

Have not visited in 12 years a lot has definitely changed since than not just with the safety in place like sanitizer and masks the rides have come and gone miss a few but definitely loved the new ones, kong reigns my favorite yes pun intended and even the food was great stopped at three broomsticks for the kids i ate at wimpy's food was great i definitely recommend the theme park to anyone and i think they did over all better than Disney. The team members were so friendly and a lot stuck out to me like mat from wimpy's was very friendly and actually cared about his guests and went above and beyond, the management definitely knows how to pick a team, even had a great conversation with brian he maybe park services but took the time to stop and chat and guide me in the right direction. Mask or not you can see who has a genuine smile behind their mask will be returning for sure once money allows.

I had a blast truth be told i love islands but didn't give full 5 stars because was not the best experience with all said and done the virtual que you can barely get one my boyfriend and i had to stand in long lines. I will say when i was in the stand with pretzels next to fire eater both team members there were great mat, told me the pretzels should be out within minutes and they came almost a few minutes later fresh and piping hot which made my boyfriend's day he was about to cry when he saw the last pretzel being sold and perked right up when he was able to get it both mat and Abigail were nice, friendly, and caring about the guests needs quickly and with a smile you could see through the mask.

Covid precautions were well enforced. The food at Richters was horrible and not worth the money. The haunted houses were not as scary with the plexiglass and social distancing. Hagrids is awesome and the Velaciraptor coaster is coming along nicely. I can’t wait for that. The lines in the weekend of Nov 6th were manageable.

We stayed at Disney half the week and the other half at Hard Rock Hotel (with our children and two other families) and had completely opposite experiences. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Hard Rock Hotel, Universal, and Islands of Adventure. They did a great job of not overwhelming the parks (although the weekend more crowded). We ate at The Palm Restaurant and The Kitchen. Again, just fantastic! The Cabana was very nice and so was the service. We have stayed several times at The Portofino Hotel in the past (although closed this time) and eaten at the fabulous BICE Restaurant (look forward to the reopening of both). I couldn't have been more pleased being able to ride the new Hagrid Rollercoaster! By having the Universal App they made it super easy to virtually pick a time to ride the Rollercoaster (unlike Disney's Rise of the Resistance). Kudos! We enjoyed the 2 Haunted House's too. We went to Volcano Bay a day and besides wishing it was open past 5 p.m. it was a fantastic day!
