"Best Day of My Life!!"
March 2020
Amazing park!! Surprisingly not super crowded. Food, music, rides, atmosphere all fit for kids and adults alike. Loved Happy Potter Wizarding World and the delicious food at the Leaky Cauldron. Even though my husband lost his phone on a ride, the lost and found team was able to get it back to us. Never thought that would happen. We stayed ALL DAY and into the night. I could not have been happier with spending Christmas day in Universal!!

"5 Day Universal pass"
February 2020
We Bought a 5 day park to park pass from Tripster and collected tickets through will call with out an issue. First day we visited Universal studios and this has Diagon Alley, and Kings Cross station with platform 9 and 3/4. which is very popular for the Harry Potter fans. The Simpson fans will also like it here with the Simspon ride, Moes, the kwiki mart and you can eat food from the eateries that are on the simpsons like the famous Krusty burger and sample a Duff Beer. Island of Adventure has Hogsmeade and you can catch the hogworts express from universal studios to island of adventure Hogsmeade if you have a park to park pass. the ride is different depending on which way you travel. Plan you trip to get there at 9 and go for the HP rides first up as you will still have about a 1 and half hour wait if you dont have a fast pass. having a 5 day pass we did all rides and didnt mind the queues. We visited Volcano Bay on one day to break things up and had a good time relaxing doing the water rides with out the extremely long queues. They use a watch that acts as your card and can hold spots in the queue and you can purchase using it so you dont need money in your pocket. We enjoyed the universal orlando resort over Disney on this trip.

Tip: Get there at 9 so you can get into the lines for the major actractions or purchase a fast pass if you have limited time.

"Amazing Trip from Tripster"
January 2020
We loved our trip to Universal!! We had to shift our date last minute due to unforeseen family issues. Tripster refunded us fully and set us up for a new date with no trouble at all! Was so helpful and accommodating - the park was so much fun, so glad we got the two day pass so we could explore in some time and not rush our vacation. We rode every ride and got there nice and early for Harry Potter World. No need for fastpass if you go in the offseason.

"Great experience, but too many technical delays in popular rides"
January 2020
It was my first time going to such a resort, and I was amazed by how much there was to do and how fun it was. However, after two days of seeing it I felt like I saw everything that was worth it. Needless to say, since I bought 5 days, I went on most rides multiple times.
The very popular rides (all Harry Potter, Transformers, Spiderman, Hulk, Kong) have long lines and special single rider lines. The single rider lines are much shorter, but you are missing out on interesting decorations/movies/experiences, so I also went in the regular lines to see those things.
For people without children, the must experience rides in my opinion are: Hagrid, Forbidden Journey, Escape from the Gringotts, Transformers, Skull Island - Kong, Spiderman, Hulk, Hollywood Rockit, The Simpsons, Ripley Falls, Shrek... Ok, all Thrill and 3D & 4D things are must see, but above are the most memorable IMO.
Don't forget to download the Universal Orlando app to see wait times and maps, set alarms for low wait times and such things.
It is also important to get the Park to park pass to go on the Hogsmeade train, an enjoyable experience and it is different in each of the 2 stations. the King's Cross has the magical mirror where it seems you go through the wall.
Some of the Kid rides are super nice too, like E.T. and Minions.
Long story short, most things are worth seeing. As for shows, the Poseidon one really impressed me.
Volcano Bay was really underwhelming after going to the main parks, the only things worth experiencing are Krakatau aqua coaster, Maku of Maku and Puihi of Maku, then the ika Moana ones.
...
I liked Universal a lot, so I ended up upgrading to a 1 year Seasonal Pass...

Everyone should check out my video of the raptor encounter: https://youtu.be/lzqR-PkH9b8
If the link doesn't work, search for "Making velociraptor jealous by flirting with its trainer- Blue raptor encounter at Universal Studios".
P.S.: If the raptor trainer sees this, call me

"Well, it’s not Disney"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed July 07, 2020 NEW
I will preface this with the fact that I enjoy going to Disney. I went with kids aged 5-16. Never have I seen an all out brawl in nearly 20 years of going to Disney. In less than 1/2 day I saw one and another nearly another. A significant number of minimally clothed people as well. The coasters were good. Lots of simulator/screen attractions. Food was not good and portions were tiny.

"1st Time Visit - Perfect Day - Impressed"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed July 07, 2020 NEW
Awesome first time visiting Islands of Adventure and it could not have been a more perfect day. First off, I read a review or two before going, of social distancing not being adhered to, masks not being worn, employees not enforcing COVID guidelines, this was not the case on the day we visited! Temp check at entrance, masks were worn by EVERYONE, and if you happened to have yours pulled down from your nose or half on/half off, you were kindly asked to properly wear your mask covering both nose and mouth. Hand sanitizer was given out at the entrance of each ride or you didn't get on the ride, and all queues had lines taped for distancing between riders/groups. I think we were told once during the river adventure ride that we could remove our mask during the ride but promptly put it back on once ride was over. As for wait times the day we visited, the longest wait was for Hulk which was 45 minutes, every ride there after we waited max maybe 10 minutes. Hagrid's Motorbikes we Virtual Line passed and rode twice and could have easily fit in another ride. We were there from 9:30am - 4:30pm and rode everything we wanted to ride, stopped for lunch and a brief rain delay. Perfect day and completely impressed on their handling of COVID/CDC guidelines. Thank you Universal! We WILL be back!

"Great time at parks"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed July 06, 2020 NEW
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful time at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Both theme parks did an excellent job with social distancing and ensuring people wore their masks in a friendly reminder sort of way. There was no overcrowding. They offered virtual lines for some of the more popular rides like Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure but that too was great as we just showed up at our self chosen time and proceeded to the ride. While the line was long when we returned to this one particular ride it was very very quick. Each ride operator delivered each rider with a fresh pump of hand sanitizer prior to getting on the ride. I felt both parks did an excellent job of offering a great experience with germ control! FYI I am very particular when in comes to cleanliness and both parks exceeded my expectations. So grab your mask and head out to the parks and enjoy a day in the Florida sunshine once again. Me and my family can’t wait to go back!

"Average typical carnival rides"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed July 03, 2020 NEW
Islands of Adventure is the better of the two parks so if you choose one, go here vice universal. Decent rides. Short waits due to Covid. Many signs for healthy visit (wear masks, stay apart, etc) however unfortunately not many following the rules and no enforcement by workers the day we visited. Seemed like workers were too busy squirting a small blob of sanitizer on each riders hands as they loaded Rides that they really didn’t do anything else. Water rides are great fun. Snack bar eating options so so. Nothing special. Several good rides for younger folks. Parking is very expensive ($26) and is in a communal garage. Some fun rides but this is a basic carnival ride park. New Harry Potter Land was so crowded I didn’t feel comfortable staying there any time to explore so basically just walked through. Can easily see it all in a day.
