"Better than Disney for Adults"
November 2019 NEW
Amazing rides. The money and quality they put into each ride experience is unreal.
3 WORDS: Express Lane Pass.
SO WORTH IT. Compared to waiting almost 2 hours per ride with a regular pass we only waited like 30 min max.
They also have cool lockers that you open and close for free with your park pass.

"Disappointed"
September 2019
After spending 4 days in Disneyworld, I was quite disappointed in Universal Studio.
Everything inside the parks is more expensive.
I encountered at least 3 technical problems with 3 different rides.
When you spend so much money for the entrance, I don't want to stay stuck with my legs bouncing: it is scary and it ruins the experience.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the highlights of the parks, however it is totally a rip-off to consider Island of Adventures and Universal Studios two different parks.

Tip: If you want to enjoy the full experience of the Wizarding world of Harry Potter, make sure to have the Park to Park ticket.

"Awesome rides, less accommodating than Disney"
July 2019
Universal has awesome rides, the Incredible Hulk ride is outstanding. The wizarding world of Harry Potter is super well done and fun. They don’t let you take a backpack cooler inside which sucked, and the kids directing parking don’t know what they’re doing, but those are minor complaints. Escape from Gringots ride is also amazing.

"First time at Universal"
July 2019
Bought a 2 day 2 park pass; checking in through kiosk was quick and easy (but you must have a credit card matching the name on the order); Wish we had bought the express passes as the lines were 90 min plus wait so we didn't get to do as much as we wanted to. Would like to go back and spend time at City Walk. Didn't even know that was a thing until we were there. Beautiful park, kept very clean.

Arrive early and go to Hogsmeade, take pictures otherwise by mid morning you will not get a picture without thousands of people in it. The Harry Potter and the forbidden journey Ride is ok, kinda boring. Flight of the Hippogriff is really for smaller kids. Hagrids Magical creatures is almost impossible to get on. We waited in line for 3 hours as soon as park opened for a ride that was "Delayed" with no estimated time of opening, then staff came to say it was closed. They gave us an "Express pass" to use at another time (I think they expired in March 2020) when the ride was open. Our problem was this was our last day, with no plans to return to Orlando for a few years. In speaking to a staff member, they were candid with us and said that the "Delayed openings" and closures are because they cannot do their maintenance in the evening after park closes because they are renting Hogsmeade out after 7pm to companies like Microsoft for the evening, which means they are doing maintenance when park opens, affecting everyone that buys tickets for the day. Everyone in line around us was extremely angry! And more often than not that the ride does not open until at least mid day, but people are still in line to be ready for when it does. As for the rest of the park, unless you have very young kids Dr Zeuss area is boring, as are the rest of the rides. The only ride otherwise mentioning is the Hulk, which we rode several times, if you like roller coasters this is a good one! Side note - The Hagrid ride did open again, and were were able to use the "Express Pass" we were given, still waited another hour or so to get on, and it was a fantastic ride. Universal really needs to work out the kinks!

We visited the last few days of Sept and Oct. 1st. We enjoyed the rides and food very much. The park was not crowded and our longest wait for anything was about 30 minutes. We loved the photo package and opportunities within the park. Our favorite was pictures with Blue the Raptor. We would have liked it if there were more photo spots. Our favorite ride in Islands of Adventure was Dudley Do-Right's Rip Roarin' Falls. Character interactions were great. They took time and had conversations with you. The lines for character meet and greets were not long. We enjoyed are time together in the park

Shine taken off only due to ride breakdowns. Third visit and we love it. Refreshments are very expensive and you are not allowed to take much food into the park. Expect to pay around £3 for a bottle of water and approximately £30-40 for a burger and fries for four.

"Rainy day is not a good day to visit"

As a season pass holder, I went for a short visit. I was disappointed that two shows I picked out were canceled due to rain. I did enjoy the hot butter beer. I went to Poseidon's Fury and was not impressed. The story was ok, the acting was ok. The wait was too long (30 minutes) with nowhere to sit before or during this boring show. I won't bother again with this show.
