It was an excellent trip. Our entire family had a great experience in Universal Studios. We enjoyed Tour, Set stores, pet training, sound and animation details, etc . Food is not costly inside, except that all are all really good and honest.

"Fun"
January 2019
We all enjoyed it. Except I do have one complaint, my son 39 inches was able to ride most the rides BUt the ONLY one he really wanted to ride (despicable me) had to be 40 inches.. so they wouldn’t allow him to ride. This was very disappointing. I do know it’s for safety but a lot of the rides there require an adult or really are a bit more for taller folk. But come on... the only ride he wanted to go on and looked forward to he was rejected and sadly disappointed. Other than that. We all enjoyed ourselves. The prices in the park for food is ridiculous. Drinks aren’t terribly priced at least not to someone who is used to these tourist attractions and such.

Just like universal in Florida this one in LA doesn’t disappoint. The tower of terror here lasts longer than Florida and seems to drop more. It’s also a reasonable price and spot on location as well, Definitely worth a visit when In LA

"Not what it used to be, but still fun"

The quality of rides have gone down considerably in the last few years (with the exception of Harry Potter rides). It seems like most of the great classic rides are being replaced with 3D screen rides which are just not as fun. Also, unless you’re going in February and pay extra for a line hoper pass, I’m not sure the crowds and lines are worth it. That said, there is still much to be enjoyed.

Too much to comfortably do in a day but you want to because of the cost. Queues everywhere and many rides are simulated/ VR but still great fun. Studio lot tour seems the same as 20 years ago. Harry Potter wand tour and walking dead both a waste of time. Food and drinkd expensive.
