Dollywood is a Pigeon Forge vacation must! The park offers plenty to do for all ages. Plan on lots of walking. Make sure to get a park map and show schedule when you arrive. When you're thirsty, ask for a cup of water at any food stand. It's free!

Even if rain is in the forecast, go to Dollywood. You’ll experience shorter wait times, fewer crowds, and more chances to ride your favorite coaster or ride over and over again. We walked right onto Tennessee Tornado, Wild Eagle, and Mystery Mine!

Dollywood is always a hit! Love the newness and all the old familiar things! They have nursing rooms for mothers which are a BLESSING! Get a time saver if you plan to ride the rides multiple times to save ya a long wait! Food is delicious but a little overpriced! Lots of fun things for folks of all ages! They do not have Strollers for small babies so make sure to lug yours from home!

Our family had a great time at Dollywood. A lot of great rides, food and shows to keep everyone entertained. We especially enjoyed the ride around the park on the coal burning train. It was a wonderful experience. Will be going back again.

    April 2019
We had the best time here. The park is so clean and efficient. We did not have to wait in long lines for food or the rides. Our group’s ages ranged from 9-80, and there were things to do for everyone. The tram back to parking lot was a wonderful blessing.

    "Not what I expected"
    April 2019
The park was extremely clean, however very crowded. There is a new expansion coming in May and if you ride the train you can see some of the work that is being done. We took an adult trip and it was great for us walking around learning the history and going through the museums. We only rode two rides and the wait time was maybe 15 minutes. However we decided not to get food there because the wait was up to an hour at most places. We did most of the park within 3.5hrs and decided to leave.

I didn't know what to expect from the Dollywood Park, but it's brilliant. Very well laid out, loads of stuff to do and a day isn't enough. I would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone. There is so much to see and as well as rides, there is a museum about Dolly Parton (which is really interesting), the Dolly Express, which is a real steam train that circles the park and so much more. Everything was very well set and organised. The park was spotless and I was so impressed. Definitely go, but make sure you schedule enough time as there is so much to do!

It was a rainy, Mothers day, Sunday and we almost had the entire Park to ourselves. We have been fans of Dolly all our lives and have always wanted to visit Dollywood. We live in Fl so we have season passes to all the major theme parks here, so we did not expect much from Dollywood.... Boy were we wrong. The staff was AMAZING, the food at the Front porch Cafe was SUPER delicious. (We had the meatloaf stacker). The rides were amazing, all the shows were spectacular and we had the greatest time ever!!!!

What a great little amusement park! We love the bald eagle exhibit. Love to watch them blowing glass and making bowls, figurines etc. our favorite ride is the Merry-go-Round. Yes, we are old, but Dollywood has some rides for us too! We went on the Ferris Wheel too. Just a beautiful place here in Tennessee. We love you Dolly! Thank you for making this lovely park.

I was thrilled when my husband was going to work in Knoxville, because it was near Dollywood. This theme park is AMAZING! Its been 50 years since I was in the area and the theme park and Dolly Parton have done great for the economy. Some locals I know just sing her praises! We had a great day enjoying all the buildings, the raptor show is fantastic, we missed the Gospel Hall of Fame and other shows but the musical group singing in front of the soda show was so much fun to sing along with. We just loved the new children’s part, Wildwood Grove that just opened. Children were laughing and it was infectious- you can’t help but smile here! From the parking, to the tram drivers to the rail people and shop people, there are smiles galore! Next visit (which we are already planning) we will spend more time and eat there!

Finding ourselves with time on our hands and a weird blip of cooler weather (and knowing kids were still in school!!) we wandered over to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. We tried to save money and stayed at an EconoLodge (see separate!) and wished we had stayed at the resort. Next time! The park itself was much larger than we imagined with the new Wildwood Grove section having just opened. Great rides in there but definitely more kid oriented- yes we rode the bears for the heck of it and laughed at ourselves! Also a nice little coaster in there that was quick but fun. There are a ton of coasters in the park but two neck surgeries behind me we didn’t ride any of them...I’m seriously sad about that - they looked awesome! Food in the park was great and of course pricey as these things are. The cinnamon bread everyone talks about? OMG!!! A must have! Museums were interesting and tons of shows. Why not a 5? The park map is horrible! We kept turning around and finding we had missed the brand new section. Seriously? A few banners on lamp posts but no signage clearly delineating the brand new section. It was rather odd but won’t stop us returning in the fall!
