"Helpful staff, cool place!"
June 2019
We had purchased our tickets online and the staff was very friendly and helpful with fixing an issue. We loved the kaleidoscope room! Neat artifacts and cool facts throughout the whole building. Take the time to read about everything and do the little experiments, it is worth it.

"Good for small children."

Not at all what I expected. Mostly video and kid friendly props. Not very organized, just a bunch of mostly home made looking props with a few artifacts thrown in.

"Great for kids!"
April 2019
Took my twin 7 year olds- expected to get through quickly like other things in the area, but they loved it and were entertained the whole time! Loved that the souvenir books were only $1.

Tip: There are several floors and stairs to go on- but wasn’t bad. Allow plenty of time for the kids to play in the interactive section.

I took my 8 year old granddaughter. She didn't seem excited to go but once we were there she was interested in many of the exhibits. She took lots of photos with her phone to show when she got home and had a fun time.

Nothing over the top or special but there are many interesting things to be found. The oddities floor can be a bit scary for little kids with the shrunken heads and such. It take about an hour to get through definitely not something that will consume an entire afternoon

This museum was quite interesting even though I have seen most of this stuff on TV. I like being able to stand next to the life size versions of the unusual just for size comparison.

The Ripley's Believe It or Not museum is located on 3 floors in downtown Gatlinburg. Pay on the street level, then take the elevator to the top floor and work your way down. This museum offers a wide variety of odd and unusual exhibits from around the world. See the world's heaviest man to siamese animals to some exhibits made from match sticks. The bottom floor of the museum is primarily an arcade and gift shop. Younger children may not understand a few of the exhibits; particularly on the 3rd floor. They really seemed to enjoy 2nd floor exhibits. Tickets - Purchase individual tickets if you are just visiting this museum. If you plan to visit several Ripley's attractions, I would recommend purchasing a combo pass to save some money. Parking - City parking lots (appear to be $10 per day from what I saw) Recommend - 1 to 2 hours to tour the museum Restrooms - located on 2nd and 3rd floors
