"Happy with stay, on site laundry a plus. "

We were happy with our stay. Room was clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly and attentive to our questions. I did several loads of laundry one morning. The laundry was clean and attended. I brought some tide pods and fabric sheets which made life easier as some folks were struggling with the detergent machine. The machines take credit cards and you can pay for more than one at a time. Getting laundry done mid trip made our lives much easier.

On a previous visit I stayed at the Pop Century. The French Quarter is definitely the next level in accommodations. A well-lit room with plenty of space. There were plenty of electrical outlets. The bed and pillows were comfortable though a little softer than I desire. The bath had a double vanity separate from the toilet/shower area. The shower had decent water pressure, good temperature and a nice rain shower head. It was missing a grab rail and the rub was mildly slick. The television was huge with plenty of channels. The AC worked fine. Probably the only thing I found real odd was the lack of a clock. But maybe Disney is like casinos where time is irrelevant.

We loved our stay for our Disney trip. Nice room, clean and roomy. Our room wasn't far from the main part of the hotel which was nice. The food was good - try the beignets, the shrimp and grits and flat bread pizzas. The pool was great fun for the kids.

We holiday in Disneyworld Orlando almost every year and always stay in a Disney resort. This year we thought we would try Port Orleans French Quarter and we were delighted we did. The resort is small with easy access to all areas. The grounds are beautiful very tranquil which it lovely when you come back from a day in the busy parks. The poolside was great, it was cleaned every morning and lots of pool games and activities for the kids. The resort staff would come round with frozen fruit, cool facecloths and sunglasses wipes which was a nice touch. The rooms are a good size, we had a two bed as there are four of us but we never felt cramped. The rooms are modern with wooden floors, a flat screen TV and USB sockets. It also has a good coffee maker and a mini fridge. The resort has one bus stop so not lots of stops before entering or leaving the resort for parks. It also has a boat that takes you to Disney Springs. Overall we loved our stay in this resort and will definitely stay again.

"Great first resort/Disney experience!"

This was my first trip to Disney and both of our first stays at a Disney Resort. We checked in late one night, stayed 6 nights. Cast members were always available to answer questions. The room was nice, the double sink was unexpected and cool. The bed and pillows were comfy. We checked out the pool one day, was nice a large and the water was cool. We’d walk back to our room along the river front every night after our adventures into the parks. They have stops to get to the parks and Disney Springs. There’s even a ferry to Disney Springs. We saw a horse drawn carriage hauling people around the resort as well. Great little gift shop with lots of finds you’d get in the park without having to carry them all day. Would stay here again in a heart beat.
