Stayed at hotel for one night. Found bed bugs in both beds. Hotel said investigation would occur, and would take 2-3 business days. Day after checkout, got email saying no bed bugs were found. I have video proof of the bugs running around the bed. Hotel did NOTHING other than heat steam clothes after complaining for over an hour. Ridiculous, and will NEVER stay here again.

I stayed here prior to surgery at Toronto Western Hospital as part of organization by wsib. I thoroughly enjoyed it, everyone was helpful and it was clean and modern. They had a pool indoor and it wasn't busy but I didn't use it. The parking is underground very well-lit and safe. It is very easy to walk to place has tons of restaurants and things to-do, nicely located.

"Great Location"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

This visit to Toronto was planned as a girl's getaway to the Toronto Christmas Market. This location was about a 30 minute walk from the market. The beds were comfy and breakfast was well equipt with a lot of hot food and fresh fruits. The staff was wonderful. However, the room was tiny. If you're a bigger person, you might not enjoy having to slide around the furniture to get from one area to another. I'm not a big person but I was considering my husband. He definitely wouldn't "slide" well! The only other issue was the windows in our room were not well sealed. The room was chilly when we first arrived but we assumed it was just vacant and the heat was turned down. Unfortunately, that wasn't the problem. We couldn't get the room to warm up despite the hot air from the vent. We realized there was a very noticeable draft from the windows. The blinds were kept closed for the weekend to keep the cold air from blowing in and onto my friend while she was sleeping. The noise from the street was also a bit of an annoyance. I wonder if the window repair could have muffled that noise as well. But it is Toronto. If we had spent more time in the room, I may have tried to switch rooms, but we had quickly put our bags down and left. I'm taking this personally only because I was the planner for this trip. We had a great time in Toronto but this HI might be needing some TLC to the windows both for the guests' comfort and their own energy bills.

"A good find close to downtown action."

Stayed here on the recommendation of a relative. If you have a vehicle, it is important to note there is only a few spots on Carlton Street while you check in. Important to know their underground parking is off Wood Street. You can enter and advise front desk you’re in the parkade (which is tight). Charge is $30/night for parking which is reasonable for downtown Toronto. Rooms are small, some views are even smaller. Lobby and hallways are clean though the carpet in my room could have used a good professional cleaning. Front desk staff very helpful. Breakfast was not part of my room night rate, don’t even know if they offer a complimentary breakfast as the hotel has a restaurant and not a breakfast area.
