We stayed here on holiday for 2 weeks and can highly recommend staying here. Our room was spotlessly clean. The staff are all very friendly and polite. The food is superb in the food court so much so our 2 year old loved the Chicken Alfredo. Breakfast had a great choice from fruit to savory. The breakfast staff are superb and so funny thank you to them! We asked for extra towels and they were brought to our room within 5 minutes. We would like to Thank everyone at The Enclave Suites and we will definitely be staying there again in the future!!!

we arrived after a long journey from Ireland. we were greeted by a very polite and friendly man at the desk. Im sure his name was Jomal. We got our room in block three and it was a disaster from when we opened the door. our room was right beside fun spot. After travelling so far it was the last thing we needed(room 3405). one of the rooms had hand painted animals all over the walls and one of the toilets still had fesces in the bowl. we reported this to reception and he changed our room immediately to room 2201 in block two. the hotel itself is old compared to the pictures put up. the carpets are old and our lift never worked. we only spent 4 nights here as we had to leave over the corona virus so cant say much about staff, but the one we dealt with were very friendly. a special mention to Tina who seem to be running the shop and cafe when we were there and still manged to be nice.look if you need somewhere to rest your head if your doing parks everyday then this is perfect for you.

"Exceeded Expectations"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed March 20, 2020 NEW
After reading some of the horror reviews on here, I was quite apprehensive about what would await us at the Enclave Suites but I will say that I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. On arrival we were greeted by the lady on Reception (Maria). She gave us our keys, informed us about the cleaning of the rooms (every 3 days) and gave us our vouchers for the breakfast. We were Virgin Holiday customers so we got the unlimited hot breakfast. We also got the safe which was $1 per day. Our room was located in Block 1 on the third floor. We had booked a 2-bedroom suite. You do need to use your key card to open the main door to the block for obvious security reasons. The lifts are a little daunting and the doors do take a few seconds to open when it stops at a floor but they didn’t break down during our stay (that we noticed). There are also stairs if you are feeling energetic or the lift is taking a while. The corridor leading to the room was clean. Upon entering our room, we immediately entered the living/kitchen area. The room was clean. The kitchen consisted of a sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, 2 ting hob and a fridge freezer. I will admit that the style could do with updating but it all worked and there was plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery etc. The one thing I would replace straight away in the kitchen is the fridge freezer as it was rusting along the bottom. The living area consisted of a sofa (which could be turned into a sofa bed), a coffee table, dining table and chairs and a TV. There were plenty of channels on the TV so always something to watch. There was also sliding doors to the small balcony on which there were a couple of chairs and table. In bedroom 1, there was a double bed, with bed side units, a chest of drawers and TV. There was also a wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The wardrobe also housed the safe. The bedroom has a small en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Bedroom 2 was very much the same but with 2 smaller beds. The bathroom for this room was also a little bigger with a shower over a bath Overall the room met expectations but could be so much more. You could tell that the doors and some of the furniture had seen better days and it wouldn’t take much to bring it up to date. However, it was clean and the cleaners came when expected. They even did our washing up. There was some dust gathering by the end of the week so a quick go over with a duster during their trips to replace towels etc would be a nice touch. Breakfast took place in the restaurant where the pizza hut express is. If you are not a Virgin Holidays customer, you get the continental only breakfast which is in a different room. The breakfast we had was ok. Basic bacon/sausage/ham with an egg variety and some form of potato. There was cereal and a waffle maker and a few juice choices. It wasn’t really much to get overly excited about as the hot food items were a little greasy but it set us up enough to keep hunger at bay. The hotel has 3 pools. 2 outdoor and one indoor. Apparently the one behind block 1 was heated but it didn’t feel like it. We ended up heading into the indoor pool hot tub as that was nice and warm. The only issue with the hot tub in the indoor area was that the switch to turn it on was a good way from the hot tub itself so you needed to get out to turn it back on. Not a deal breaker, but a bit silly. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to Universal (the Disney one is not free). You have to book the day before from the desk to the right of reception and you are given vouchers for the bus driver. There are 2 return options in the evening, however if you wish to come back earlier, we discovered that the resort up the road (Universal’s endless summer resort) did a free shuttle to universal). On one day we got on the bus to the endless summer resort (Surfside) and got off at that hotel and walked the rest of the way to ours (10 mins). This is a good alternative to using a taxi if coming back to hotel outside the shuttle times. The location of the hotel is north international drive. There isn’t really much around except small strips of shops. It is about a 15-minute walk to Denny’s, Walgreens etc. There is an i-Ride trolley stop on International Drive that is easy to get to. Overall, the hotel beat my expectations and we had a very pleasant stay. It is not the Ritz. It is a solid 3 star hotel. Areas for improvement would be to upgrade to electronic safes and get rid of the $7 a week charge and I would look at replacing décor, furniture and appliances that are past their best. Having said that though, I would definitely stay here again.

"Very Basic and old school"

There is only a whistling hob kettle which takes forever and a day to heat up so we bought an electric one for $14.99 at a local store! We were in block 1. Left it there so ask house-keeping for it! You are welcome Rooms were old, tired and sad. Beds were OK but not great. Showers were old and slow but did the job. Defo NOT 4 star quality. Never had the floor swept or cleaned in 2 weeks. Just beds made and towels replaced. Lovely cleaning staff who didn't speak a word of english though ! Constant sound of water (like a waterfall) in our room from a locked cupboard. Maintenace used a knife to open it and said it was just the air conditioning (which was off at that time???) Breakfast was sometimes - scrambled egg, bacon & beans or overcooked fried egg, spicy sausage and some sort of potato thing or a porridge looking thing.....diy waffle or toast, strawberry yoghurt & fruit, We lost interest after day 5! No fresh fruit :( The swimming pools are great apart from the scumm floating on the surface - only brought to my attention by another guest!! Balconies are tiny.

"Wouldn’t Visit Again"

Our room itself was a decent size with a good sized fridge to store drinks etc. The room looked clean but only from a distance, when you looked closer the room was really dusty and needed a deep clean, I found myself wiping down the bedside table tops with wipes as there was lots of dust and marks on them. Our room had not been well maintained and needed some TLC. Rooms were cleaned every 3 days, however I wouldn’t class them as being cleaned, the cleaners just replace your towels and put the dishwasher on for you if needed. Our bedding wasn’t changed every visit, sometimes they made our bed with the same sheets. The bathroom was a decent size, had a good hairdryer but the mirror and cabinet was filthy again. The closer I looked the more dirt and dust I noticed. With Florida you’re most likely going to be spending your days out and about at the theme parks etc. This was the case with us, therefore the hotel was bearable. However if we were staying at the hotel in the days etc, it wouldn’t be nice.
