"Elvis is Rolling Over in His Grave!!!!"
December 2018
This past Thursday my cousin and I attended this debacle. The theater is old with old fashioned seats and a horrible bathroom.
The first portion consisted of people who could not sing and their costumes were unprofessional. Marilyn Monroe was just awful followed by Donnie and Marie who has a nasal voice and no sense of rhythm at all. I kept thinking it would get better. Dolly Parton was probably the best, but she had only 1 acceptably good song and her beauty mole was in the wrong place. Conway Twitty had 1 good song, but you don't have the same singer portraying both Conway and then come on the stage after intermission as Elvis!!!! Your headliner should be unique! The Michael Jackson impersonator could not sing. He had some of Michael Jackson's moves, but it actually got boring. The same moves over and over without good singing. We sat through the intermission thinking that Elvis would redeem the show. WE THOUGHT WRONG. When Conway Twitty came out as Elvis I groaned. We had to leave after the first 2 songs. The beginning acts we sort of laughed through, but when they screwed up Elvis, I couldn't take it.
The sad part is, these people think they can sing and they think it is a good show. There is potential with some of the performers, but they need acting and singing classes.
As we were leaving, the man sitting at the desk asked, "Was there anything you liked?" I was floored that he could ask that. Rather than, "Sorry you are leaving." If there was a way to get my money back I would, but I don't think there is.
There are so many excellent show in Pigeon Forge, this is not one of them!

"Great Elvis!"
October 2018
Darren Lee did a great rendition of Elvis and was dead on with his vocals. He performs the earlier Elvis with his gyrating foot work and moves, and then comes out in the white jumpsuit. Wonderful song choices, too. Reba was fantastic as always, and I truly enjoyed the back up singer (Michelle?) when they did the song, "Does He Love You." Michael Jackson had some awesome footwork, but did not present the best vocals of a M. Jackson tribute artist I have ever heard. Buddy was good as always, and Conway was good, but seemed a little off on his vocals during his first two songs. Been coming for 20+ years and have seen many different tribute artists, and I will continue to return. I do miss some of the exciting previous performers though, when Dee Gallon was running the business, but I do understand that with change in management comes changes in acts as well. For sure, the other show (Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons group) was spectacular and dead on in vocals and dance moves. I will be back soon.

Tip: Don't expect the theater to be packed unless they are doing a special Elvis tribute show or bringing in some of the previous tribute artists.

Fantastic show! The actors were amazing! Great performance and extremely kind and generous. The pictures at the end of the show with Elvis were great and the staff ensured that the photographs were to our liking prior to printing.

"No tribute to Elvis"
September 2018
We were highly disappointed in this show, almost left at the intermission. Elvis was an embarrassment, too vulgar, suggestive. Seen the real Elvis years ago and he acted as a family friendly. Other performers were not that good either. The only positive take away for us was Willie Nelson, spot on.
