The rooms in and around Universal Studios are very highly priced, especially when looking for a very specific amount of beds in the room to accommodate two teens. They won’t sleep on the same bed especially because it’s awkward for 2 teen male friends to sleep on the same bed. There are rooms that offer two beds and a sofa bed, but hard to find. So this place had the right room. It had a huge king bed for us adults. It had a full bed for one of the teens and a twin bed for the other. It had a nice big bathroom and plenty of mirrors in the room to put makeup or blow dry your hair. It also had a small refrigerator (no freezer), but it did not have a microwave or coffee maker. My son’s bed (twin bed) had a spot on the sheet that was raised. Don’t know what it was, but when I asked for another fitted sheet, the guy at the front desk swore he was night watch and knew nothing about where the linens were. It looked like he pretended to go and look, and told us to go ahead and go to our room because it could take a while. My husband went outside to the car and said he was back in the office. Did not call us or inform us if there were any sheets or not. Totally rude! So I wiped the sheet with a wipe and tried to clean it myself! First night, looked like prostitutes were going there. A little shady in some areas surrounding hotel. No pool or jacuzzi. Nothing fancy at all. And it wasn’t so cheap to stay there either, BUT... it served its purpose to sleep and shower. Oh yeah! And take your own blow dryer. There is no iron or ironing board either.

"Decent Hotel"

We book a room here for our trip to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal studios. The room had very little amenities, no microwave, iron etc. There was only 3 usable outlets in the room to charge phones etc. The bed was hard as rock! We couldn't sleep comfortably. The free continental breakfast... was decent however the there were families rummaging through the food like savages! Free food tends to bring the ghetto out . I would stay again for a night.

"Nothing spectacular, but clean and convenient"

It was quite a funky room, with a "kitchen" area with a counter and sink, but there was a full size refrigerator in the room by the bed. It was too noisy, so we had to unplug it during the night. We had a "microsuite". Sort of a mish mash of stuff. It wasn't glamorous, but it worked. We were only there for one night. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. No complaints. Breakfast was sparse.

"Don't expect much"

The room is clean. Strong smell but clean. The bathroom is outdated. Ice is not free. The free breakfast is lacking and staff will be in there eating all the food. Coffee is burnt. The breakfast room is too small, not clean and smells of burnt toast. Heaven forbid you to try and air the room out. Broken English is all i could understand. Spend your money on a nicer hotel if you are in the area. Not worth your money or time.

"Clean, basic motel near Universal Studios"

It's a clean, very basic, motel room with a minimal continental breakfast. For us, it was perfect since we just needed a home base for before/after a day at Universal Studios. An Uber there and back (with tips) was $22 vs $25 for lot parking, plus it drops you off at the park entrance, so leave the car at the hotel.
