This is my second time here and I’m very satisfied once again :). I’ll definitely be coming here again. Next time it will be with family and friends. There clean here, and neat. Just the place I need to be for a great stay/vacation.

"Great view. Quiet room. Everything else mediocre at best"

Arrived January 1, hoping for early check-in. No rooms available yet. Front desk person took my money but would not give me the room key until room was available. I've never had to pay for a room before it was ready to occupy. Although the room was paid for through Priceline, I had to put a another $100 "hold fee" on my credit card for release at checkout. (The other choice was to give them $45 cash that was nonrefundable!) NOWHERE to park. Had to stand in lengthy line for check in TWICE! I was told I would be called when a room was available but did not receive a call and did not have a room assigned until several minutes after check-in. I was told "free parking" when I reserved the room. That's true, but the hotel has no parking lot other than a precious few spaces that were always taken. Guests have to park in a deck 2 blocks away. I felt uncomfortable without security! Refrigerator was leaking and not cool because fridge door would not seal. Lights in bathroom blew out immediately. Reported the problems and was told, "The lights have to be reset to come back on." That worked. Maintenance came by to "adjust" the fridge. The door was catching on the cabinet beside it: common problem there. Balcony curtain was very difficult to open and close. The room door had NO "do not disturb" option/sign. One of our door cards failed to work and had to be replaced. Room was clean but tiny. Not even a table to sit at! We had 2 people in the room, and one of us had to step aside for the other to walk through. Nothing to put luggage on other than floor or bed. Took water SEVERAL minutes to get hot. No ice maker on floor. We called front desk, and they didn't know where one was! After checking with someone else, attendant told us it was on 3rd floor. We were on 15th. I trudged to 3rd with ice bucket, but NO icemaker there. I discovered that the elevator actually had a list of which floors had icemakers - there was NOT one on 3rd floor. I went to 3 different floors before finding an icemaker that actually had ice in it. TV had NO channel guide and room had no booklet of attractions or hotel amenities, times of availability, etc. We should have been given a wrist band for pool use but were not. We got in ok without it. Pool and hot tub were fine. The only computer available for public use was a touchscreen where I had to stand up to use it. (I do not have the Internet on my phone, but since "most people" do, the hotel does not provide a full computer with a place to sit! That was a first for me.) Starbuck's was attached to the hotel and was out of very basic types of drinks. Shelves were partially empty. The night before checkout, I was all snug in my PJ's when I received a call from the front desk telling me, "We neglected to give you your discount coupons. Could you come down now and pick them up?" I got dressed, returned to the lobby and found out that my "discount" would cost me $35. I said, "No thanks," and left. That pretty much topped off the visit! I will not return to this so-called "resort" under any circumstances. The front desk staff was nice enough, and the room was oceanfront with an excellent view. Otherwise, I was NOT impressed in the least.

"worst experience at a hotel in my life!"

"ocean view" was a view of hotel next door! 70's outside and AC would not go below 68, fan would not turn on. Was told they would check it and Another girl came around the corner and was told we would not be in the room and she rudely baked, "Of course they won't!" Not fixed and my room was an oven! Tried sleeping with the door open but all the noise from the street had to shut the door 7am fell asleep, wakened by a phone call from the desk wanting to sell me tickets to shows! When I said I was sleeping, the girl dismissed me and continued with her pitch. I bought sleeping pills just so I could get some sleep the second night and was waken by the maid banging on my door at 10am even when I had the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on the door. I called the front desk to double check time of check out and was told 11am. I told the girl that the maid was banging on my door at 10am and she says, "UH HUH, so do you want to check out on the phone?" I checked out, exhausted from 2 nights of NO sleep and asked how I was to get into the parking garage so the girl gave me a card to open the garage door. Needless to say, after hauling all our luggage 2 streets over to the garage, the key card did not work!! Thank God someone was coming out and let us in! the ONLY thing I enjoyed the whole weekend was the Starbucks on the corner because, after 2 days of no sleep, I needed a gallon of coffee!! Staff at this hotel treated us like they could care less if we were in the least bit happy with our stay!!

"Perfect location"

We love the location and the size and arrangement of our 3 bedroom/3 bathroom suite. The staff were friendly and professional. The kitchen, however, was poorly stocked. No cookie sheet, no measuring cup, no colander, no plastic cups, etc. I don't expect anything elaborate, but I do expect the basics of a kitchen.
