"Saw large pods of dolphins and several whales - a great trip!"

We had scheduled our trip on the Majestic of Atlantis Cruises, through our concierge at the Hale Koa. We were given a time to be in the lobby and sure enough, Naomi was there to pick us and several others up. As we worked our way from the dock, Mariann, the naturalist. began to tell us about what we may see and how to spot the whales. As we were heading out to watch for the whales, we were served a buffet lunch, mostly sandwiches and some salads, but we felt that it worked for us, as it was a light lunch. And who knows just how choppy the water can get. Well, the water wasn't very choppy and when we were idling along the front of Waikiki Beach, we saw several whales, including a tail slap and a fluke up dive. It is amazing how everyone has their eyes glued to the water looking for that proverbial whale blow or spout. We also saw more than a few spinner dolphins and, in fact, there were at least two very large pods of 20-25 dolphins. The staff on the boat was very informative and nice. The lady at the gift shop on the boat was especially nice. We had a great time on the Majestic, but then what do they say, "Things go better with whales!"

"Dinner and sunset cruise"

We booked this evening dinner cruise through the cruise ship we traveled on to Hawaii, we thought it would be a great way to end our day on Ohau, We boarded and were greeted with a glass of champagne or ginger ale which was very nice, unfortunately for some guests, they had mobility issues and could not climb the stairs to the second deck where the food and beverages were, They sat on the lower level and we hope they were looked after. The cruise itself was very nice, but the meal was disappointing, it was served buffet style (which wasn't a problem) but it was pretty plain fare, except for the arrival beverage, that was all that was included, there was a bar that was a little pricey (you are on a cruise, in Hawaii) but for what we paid to do this excursion, we felt it was way overpriced for what we received, and from talking with other guests back aboard, the feeling was agreed, There were other guests who did a catamaran sail, they had a "Hawaiian" buffet and all beverages included, and paid considerably less, if we visited again, this would not be a tour we would do again.

This has to be the worst cruise i have ever went on. The appetizer portion was only 4 options which all were meat LOL 😂 no sides. They had fruit which was pretty much all gone within 10 minutes! What a joke!!! There barely was music only towards the last few minutes! Highly disappointed! To top it off the food was so cold. We did the fireworks cruise on Friday which maybe lasted all of 45 seconds such a waste
