"LA getaway"

Room is spacious enough for 4 people. We had a great time staying. Bed is comfortable. Just be mindful about the traffic in LA , it gets very bad during workdays. Try to leave early if you want to visit as many place as you like. Very close to Disneyland. If you just want to visit Disney, it’s perfect location.

"Close to Disneyland, but wouldn't stay here again.."

The beds are very firm, we had sore backs long after we got home. We requested softer beds but were told that we'd have to pay for a pillow top. After a long day at Disneyland we got to the hotel around 11pm with our 4 kids. The water was ICE COLD. We called the front desk and were told that they were changing a boiler. I was told the water would be warming up soon. An hour later we still had no hot water so I called again and was told that there was no eta on when it would be fixed. I requested another room and was told that no rooms in the entire hotel had hot water. They told me there was nothing they could do. There was no microwave in the room, only the 3rd floor has them. This is standard in most hotel rooms. We had planned and brought food thinking we'd have a microwave. When we got into the room we turned the temperature on the mini fridge down to cool it off. Hours later it still wasn't cool so we turned it on Max. It still wasn't working so we had maintenance come look at it. She stated it wasn't plugged in, so she plugged it in for us. She didn't turn the temp down when she plugged it in, so all my food froze and I had to throw it away. Housekeeping opened our door before 8am when we were still sleeping. We didn't have the tag on our door to not disturb because we hadn't even woken up yet and we wanted them to come that day after we left. The distance was the only benefit to staying at this hotel. I would rather stay somewhere farther and have a better experience.

"Not bad, not good either."

Disney is expensive, I get it... That's why I chose this hotel and I got exactly what I paid for. I'm okay losing a night's sleep hearing traffic or having height issues because I spent the day at Disney. Would I bring kids here? Doubtedly. To be clear, there's nothing wrong at all with this hotel, but I felt uncomfortable and if Disney weren't walking distance I'd be more vocal about it too.

"Long walk to anywhere except Disneyland."

My daughter and I stayed here at the beginning of May. We were here for 10 days five of which we visited Disney two of which Universal Studios and a couple of other days that we did some tours. This is an okay place if you are just doing Disneyland but if you need to catch other transportation then it's quite a walk. First of all to get any transportation for any of the things I mentioned you have to first walk out of their parking lot which will take you owe a good 10 minutes from your room at least and then you have to walk on Harbor Boulevard around all the businesses down the road down the other Road because nothing can stop in front of your hotel. This would be fine except there's no one to tell you where anything is just kind of stand over here and hope the transportation sees you. Another issue I had was I asked for no maid service I always do this so they don't make my bed I'm a very particular sleeper and have insomnia so if I make my bed correctly the way I want to sleep in it it needs to stay that way. Housekeeping came in with the sign on the door that said do not disturb. When I came back I was very upset and called the front desk and all they said was oh well maybe that won't happen again. Needless to say if you don't want to have to put up with a lot of things sure this is the place to go if you're just doing Disneyland if you're going to be particular or need certain things don't bother with this place it was just okay.

"Excellent hotel and staff"

We stayed 7/1-7/4, checking in was super quick. Tamara was really friendly and helpful, she even sent up my daughter a stuffed animal for her 1st birthday. Room was clean and the AC/heater worked perfect. Beds were comfy. Every staff we encountered greeted us. Walk to the park was about 7-10 mins. Pizza Hut/cafe on 3rd floor was great for a quick snack. Free water in lobby was amazing before/after Disney. Will definitely be staying again in Sept when we visit Disney next. Only complaint was with the valet. We kept getting citation notices from valet about parking permits even though we had the sticker. It was an easy fix but annoying every morning we'd wake up the notice.
