Parts of the show was enjoyable. The advertising I saw said 50s, 60s and 70s, but mostly just 50s music and No 70s at all. I enjoyed the 60s stuff best. The food was OK - while it was HOT ... after the meat cooled not good at all.

We really enjoyed the step back into time with the Hit Parade. The singers were so personable and the staff was great! A special treat to hear some of the music my husband and I grew up with! Thank you!

We totally enjoyed the dinner and show. The theatre set up was awesome. Had tables facing stage but close enough to those in front and back of us to be friendly but still private. The MC was awesome and made it fun for all with roving kiss camera. The line to eat was organized so there was minimum wait time and food was like home cooking. Everyone who visits Smokies should give Hit Parade a priority. Great for all ages but especially seniors.

"BEST SHOW IN PIGEON FORGE"
July 2018
I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT SHOW TITLED HIT PARADE, MY WIFE IS 73 AND I AM 77. I REALLY EXPECTED A SHOW WITH NEWER MUSIC AND WAS PLEASANTLY SUPRISED TO HEAR MUSIC FROM OUR ERA, THE TIME WE WERE GROWING UP, TEENGERS. THE SINGERS WERE OUTSTANDING, THE MUSIC EXILLERATING. WE THROUGHLY ENJOYED THE SHOW FROM THE OPENING CURTAIN TO THE END. THE SALUTE TO VETERANS AND SERVICE MEMBERS WAS UNDOBUTLY THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN ANYWHERE. WE HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL SHOWS IN PIGEON FORGE, AND MANY IN BRANSON, MO. AND SEVERAL AT MYRTLE BEACH, SC. THIS SALUTE WAS THE BEST HANDS DOWN. THIS FEELING WAS MUTUAL WITH A FELLOW VIETNAM VETERAN ALONG WITH HIS WIFE, WHO ATTENDED THE SHOW WITH MY WIFE AND I. THE ONE THING I WOULD CHANGE IS WHEN ELVIS'S MEDLEY IS SUNG, I WOULD HAVE THE REST OF THE CAST DOING BACK-UP TO MAKE IT MORE LIKE THE ELVIS SONG. BY THE WAY, IN MY OPINION, THAT IS THE PRETTIEST SONG ELVIS EVER SANG. THE NEXT TIME WE ARE IN PIGEON FORGE, LOOK FOR US TO BE IN ATTENDANCE. GREAT SHOW.

"Not quite a hit."
July 2018
When making reservations for our visit to Pigeon Forge, the Hit Parade was the first place I booked. Both my husband and I were looking forward to Memory Lane as we listened to the Golden Oldies. Well, the music was there, but it was tired as were most of the performers. They lacked the enthusiasm for this kind of act. After awhile, even the audience seemed tired, too. There were a few bright spots, but overall, the show was mediocre. This was a dinner show for us; unfortunately, we had seen a dinner show at the same place the night before. The meal was the same. A change would have been quite nice. Sorry, folks, but the show was a disappointment.

"Terrible Food, Very Cold Temp inside"

Visited this show last night and was very, very disappointed. To start with under my seat was food from a previous show, not clean at all. When we were sitting down with others the air conditioner seemed to be on and when I asked the announcer and server to turn heat on they said they would. Never happen, as people were getting up and moving to the very back or leaving. When I call to make my reservations for 4... after getting my confirmation on my tickets, I asked what was on the menu. I was told that chef had not made his mind up yet. This was 3 hrs before show started. When we were told that our row was free to go out and get our food... we walked out to the buffet line and notice it looked bad and even tasted worse. Chicken strips that were pieces and heavy batter and very cold. The carrots tasted probably the best but had to watch for hard end pieces and stems. The gravy was cold and tasteless. The meatballs tasted spoiled and the turkey looked like and tasted like it was left over from last Thanksgiving. The show itself was ok, but nothing like the soul of Motown that we had seen various times. I guess that’s why the 8:30 show was not even a 1/3 of the way occupied Don’t wasted your $$$ or time... but if you do, please dress warm....

"A big disappointment from the arrival to the end."

As a group of 9 women who went to high school together from 1959-1963, we decided this would be the perfect show for our annual reunion. I booked it 2 weeks in advance. The box office had no record of the sale and, after 20 minutes of searching, created tickets for us all together. Since the first ticket agent's printer crashed when she started to print, it was another 10 minutes for the second agent to reenter the information so he could print them. This should have been a warning. The first 20 minutes were very good. The salute to the veterans was well-done as was the ending gospel song, but the rest was a big disappointment. Unlike their advertisement stated, no Everly Brothers, Neil Diamond, Frank Valli & The Four Seasons or Elvis hits were sung. Needless to say there also were also no Beetles songs. Instead of "Lonely Teardrops" by Jackie Wilson, they included "Reet Petite". I was the only member of our group who had heard it. The show was too short. The ballads were a disaster. All in all, a big disappointment!

"Should have known being in the Bible Belt"

I purchased tickets for the Hit Parade Dinner Show based on being able to listen to old music from the 50's and 60's, not so that I could attend church. First of all, the food was basic at best. Chicken tenders, chicken and dumplings, and meatloaf meatballs were the main courses and were just eh. Second of all, the show was mediocre at best. Nothing spectacular, not horrible, just eh. The action before the actual show was the funniest and most entertaining of the entire show. The military tribute was nice and I did appreciate that part of it. What I didn't appreciate was bringing God into a show that is advertised as hits from the 50s and 60s. Since when did hymns hit the pop charts back in the day? I would expect a religious theme from the Bible show and if I wanted that, I would have purchased tickets to that show. But I didn't want that as I think religion is just like politics and should not be included into entertaining shows. So, I would not recommend this show for anyone that does not want to have to deal with Christianity being shoved down your throat. I'm sure people would be offended if I decided to put on a show and brought Wiccan ideology into it. Well, it works both ways. It offends those that do not believe in the bible bangin BS!

Second time we have enjoyed a performance here-we are in the area for sporting events every 2 years. Pleasant show, very talented performers who give it their all and do a great job. Didn’t choose the dinner, so can’t comment on that. Obviously, we’d recommend!

"You've never heard the oldies this good!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

I've seen lots of 'oldies' shows but this one blew me away! It was soooo good! They did the songs better than the originals. Seriously! You'll know all the songs but each performer owned their song, you could hear and feel it. The girls had the best voices I ever heard. The guys were superb! And the Elvis singer was over the top. The entire group are top shelf professionals! This ain't your usual oldies show... it's truly a 5-star show!
