Ideal location, room/suites large enough to relax. All amenities available in room for those who do not want to eat out daily. Would have like to see an On Site Fitness Center, coffee hours extended beyond 12:00 hrs. Also do not want to pay for ability to sit on beach. Charge a resort fee to include that in the daily suite charge. Parking should also be FREE. Friendly and helpful staff, clean environment. Would come back again.

We've stayed there multiple times & love the location/view and amenities they offer. For the most part, the property is clean and well kept. The downside this year was that there was smoking everywhere; around the pool, on the balconies and at the Cabana bar they even have ashtrays sitting on the bar counter and the tables. It was hard to enjoy the beautiful view with second-hand smoke. They advertise non-smoking suites and no smoking on the balconies, but that was not enforced at all. People below us were smoking cigars so we could not even be on our balcony with children. The kids kept asking why everyone could smoke there. That didn't seem to be the case in the past, but this year it was quite annoying.

We are locals that needed a place to stay while our house was tented for termites. The Alden turned our stress and inconvenience into a vacation! The suite was spacious and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, plentiful linens, very clean room and property. The food truck on property was great for lunch and we were surprised by the many choices offered. The beach area was beautiful and we enjoyed the lounge chairs and cabanas, and a walk at sunset every night. The location is perfect with many local favorite restaurants near by. We will definitely be back for a stay - cation again!

My husband and I spent a wonderful long weekend at The Alden while our home was being tented. The tenting prep is stressful but once we arrived at The Alden we relaxed and entered vacation mode! The accommodations were excellent. Our room overlooked one of the pools and was spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the beach and the many restaurants near by! While it was only the two of us, we think The Alden is great for families too. We will definitely be back!
