"Very nice for the price"
February 2018
I thought the price of this room was good. The room was very clean and very spacious. The breakfast was nice and staff was friendly. The only complaint I had was our room was on second floor (room 211). Right below our room was the furnace room, right above our room was the breakfast room. And right next to it was the elevator. So there was a noise coming from somewhere most of the time. We slept fiancé though bc we were extremely tired. But again the rate was cheap so I can’t complain too much. Everything else was great. I will definitely stay there again, but I will just make sure I don’t have that specific room haha.

"Microtel Pigeon Forge"
January 2015
Parking lot was well lit, room was big enough and we had daily maid service. It is a little hard to find at first as you have to make a U-turn if you are coming from Sevierville.

Tip: Ask for an odd number room if you want to face the street. The even numbered rooms face the parking lot.

"Stress free for honeymoon"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We spent part of our honeymoon from June 28 - July 2 at the Microtel in Pigeon Forge. When we arrived on the 28th, we made the mistake of stopping at the Microtel in Gatlinburg. From the outside, the Gatlinburg hotel was very run down. There was an unmistakable smell of must and mold immediately walking through the door. We were then told our reservation was for the Microtel in Pigeon Forge. The Pigeon Forge hotel was MUCH nicer than the Gatlinburg hotel. The facility was very clean both inside and out. No smell, no must, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is a little older (early 2000's) and the parking lot is a little small, but the quality of service more than made up for those minor details.

We chose to stay here for a weekend getaway. The check in was so smooth. Before I arrived we were called to verify we were coming. The payment was then ran so all i had to do after arriving was pick up the keys. Since they could not do the free breakfast they offered a nutrigrain bar and prepacked cereal as a substitute which was very nice. Front desk was extremely kind and breakfast pickup was smooth. As they couldnt clean the rooms midstay they made towel exchange in the lobby in the mornings. This was behind a Krystal restaurant and we stayed on the north side so we heard the 24 hour speaker all night long. Other than that an awesome experience

"Overpriced and unfriendly"

Our room was comfortable for the most part. Walls are so thin you can hear everything in the next room. One staff member was helpful the rest were completely unhelpful. I will not stay here again. If you are Wyndham rewards, please note that they do NOT honor your status privileges at this hotel. There are too many other options in the area to settle for a $130 ( weekend rate) room with an odor.

"One Of The Better Hotel Deals In Pigeon Forge"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed May 26, 2020
I have come to enjoy staying at the Microtel hotel brand as I travel across the USA. Their rooms are always clean, spacious, and with my Wyndham Rewards membership I can usually get upgraded to a suite. So for my first trip to Pigeon Forge one weekend I knew the Microtel was where I wanted to stay. Pigeon Forge is a busy place any weekend of the year and the hotels capitalize off that with inflated rates for inferior hotels. This Microtel was more expensive than in other parts of the country but still a relatively good deal considering the alternatives. This Microtel has all suites so there wasn’t anything to upgrade to. It is set in a great location, right above the main strip through town, making it easy to get to the shopping, attractions, or down into Gatlinburg. I was very impressed that not only did this Microtel have the free continental breakfast, but it also had hot items like scrambled eggs and sausage. Plus the three boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts were definitely a plus. I can see why they do it: every hotel in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is fighting for business. I had a very pleasant stay here and will definitely be booking again for the next time I’m in Pigeon Forge.

Last minute family getaway! We decided at the last minute to go to Pegion Forge. This is our third time staying at this property. This time we took our dog and the room was great and did not smell like a pet room. Very clean.
