"Great experience!"
March 2018
Room was good size and very clean. Excellent room service. Lots of choices for free breakfast. Food was great as well. Nice pool area and hotel very near several restaurants and not far, from Disney. I had family in the area to drive me so did not take advantage of the free shuttle to Disney. The staff were always pleasant and very accomodating. Would stay again.

"Just awful - rooms smell like dirty socks, large rowdy groups of kids"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5

Stayed here for a major conference in Orlando. What a disaster. The first room I was assigned to smelled like dirty socks. I couldn’t even walk into the room. I asked to change rooms. The second room was no better. I called to complain again and was told “maybe you are just sensitive to our cleaning supplies.” NO NO NO NO. The second room was equally as rancid but apparently “nothing more can be done.” Fortunately I spent minimal time in my room while at the conference because the smell was putrid. The entire hotel was overwhelmed with large groups of young kids (football teams and cheerleaders) with no adult supervision. Young boys were playing football in the hallway at all hours of the night. The sound of foot traffic and running kept me awake at night. And the highway traffic didn’t help either. This hotel moves into my top 3 WORST hotels of all time.

"Don’t go there unless you are traveling with the group of kids"

I booked the place traveling on business attending a conference. This is not a business hotel. The place is packed with groups of kids and very few adults supervising them. Kids run and screamed, splashed coffee on me in the elevator, partied until midnight despite my multiple calls to the front desk. I also got several phone calls in the middle of the night - kids were playing with the phone because no one was supervising them. The front desk could do nothing. The breakfast place looks like a high school cafeteria with long lines, noise and food smeared on the floor. I am severely sleep deprived and will never stay there again. The solution to the problem is very simple - book the room blocks on separate floors for people traveling on business and groups going to Disney. Apparently, this idea doesn’t occur to the hotel management.

"Poor Choice for Business Stay"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed December 08, 2019 NEW
Of course staying at the edge of Disney world seems like a poor choice for an adult business stay given hundreds of screaming children continuously occupy the hallways, elevators, pool and buffets. No choice, we were put here for a huge conference. The mgmt should be able to logic out how to separate adults who are here to sleep and work, from those who aren’t.

"Rude front desk"

So I will start by saying we come here quite a bit(4-5 times a year) but this visit may be our last. The lady by the name of Lauren was the most rude Marriott front desk associate. I came down to use the pool with my kids in tow dressed and ready for the pool. When I went to open the door to the pool, you needed your room key to get in. I forgot my room key upstairs (which at this hotel can be a trek to get back to) I went to the front counter to get a key. The lady (I believe her name was Lauren) asked for my room number and last name. After I gave them to her she asked if I had my license......um if I don't have my room key, chances are I definitely don't have that, seeing I'm in my swim suit. I thought she would ask me some other info, which I could have given her, but she asked what level my husband had in Marriott rewards. I replied I believe he's platinum. Her response with a smirk was no he's higher (he's platinum elite) Which I couldn't help but ask myself, " then why in the hell are you giving me such a hard time?" Her response was that she could have security go up and get me into my room. My husband was up in our room, so I didn't need security to get me in, I simply wanted to not have to trek back upstairs and just get into the pool. My mistake for thinking there would be courteous people at the desk. This hotel is by no means awful, but it's not the Marriott world either, and for this reason especially, you should have personable people at the desk.

"Not Bad Not Great"

Great front desk staff. We stayed here right after staying at the Springhill and this was dated and the breakfast was noticeably subpar to our experience at the Springhill across the street. Odd since all of these hotels are basically one big hotel plaza. Not bad but not great.
