The Basement Theatre in Atlanta

Atlanta’s ‘Best Underground Comedy Improv Theatre,’ the Basement Theatre, offers adult humor, improv, and comedy shows for the entire family.

What some critics call ‘Atlanta’s hidden gem,’ the Basement Theatre has been entertaining audiences since 2004. Unlike some comedy clubs, the Basement performs improv, the art of actors making up scenes without a script while interacting with the audience for ideas. Improv is usually humorous but can also be dramatic. The intimate theatre seats up to 65 people comfortably.
