Ready to attend free summer concerts at Point Loma Park? These concerts feature young talent on the "Kids Stage" starting at 5:30 PM. Meanwhile, stick around for the main stage performance, which begins at 6:15 PM.

Be sure to bring your own seating and/or blankets. Also, come hungry! You can order dinner from one of the summer concert catering sponsors.

Where to Go

Point Loma Park is located at 1049 Catalina Boulevard, near the intersection of Varona Street.

Free parking is provided at All Souls’ Episcopal Church, located at 1475 Catalina Boulevard. In order to find this, enter the parking lot on Chatsworth Boulevard.

In addition, a free shuttle runs between All Souls’ parking lot and Point Loma Park from 5:30 to 9:00 PM.

Covid-19 Information

Face coverings in outdoor areas are not required.

History

Since 2001, the Point Loma Summer Concerts have provided a family-friendly environment to enjoy musical talents.

"The committee works with many volunteers from civic groups and service organizations including Point Loma Association, Peninsula Lions Club, Point Loma Optimist Club, Point Loma Rotary, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and the Peninsula Recreation Council."

The concerts are supported by:

    • contributions from individuals
    • local businesses and foundations
    • the City of San Diego
    • County of San Diego
    • Willis-Allen Real Estate (has been the Presenting Sponsor since the concerts began)
    • AmericanWest Bank (has been a sponsor since 2016)

Pledged Financial Support

In addition, Point Loma Park Summer Concerts has pledged financial support to Correia Middle School Instrumental Music Program, located in Point Loma. The series helps to purchase instruments for students' musical education programs.
