The trolley ride was really fun. I greatly enjoyed the trip and the tour of almost everything in St.Augustine. The only downsides of the trip I would say is the fact that I was not able to clearly hear the drivers tour of each place we went by, from all the way in the back. I think it is crucial to invest in speakers for each trolley cart. Or maybe one in the back and front.

Have a great time on Trolley. Bob our driver was very informative and clear in describing the history of St. Augustine. For all St. Johns county residents, September is free for the Old Trolley. Must check out if you live in St. Johns.

"Pretty typical, nothing special."

The one thing I remember most is the sheer discomfort of the seat backs on these trolleys. They are hard plastic and bend to a jutting out edge into the top of your back. Very ergonomically awkward. Call me a conspiracy nut if you like, but my theory is that they deliberately made them that way so people wouldn't plant themselves there for the whole tour, so they would tend to get off occasionally at the stops and spend money for a while at the attractions. That's my theory because nobody in their right mind would otherwise design these seats this way.

Second time using this trolley in St Augustine. Almost didn’t do it this trip and so glad we did. Worth every penny and prices are not bad if you make a point to build your day around the trolley stops.

We stayed at a beach hotel. I don’t know if all hotels offer this, but ours had a three day ticket for the cost of a one day ticket. Plus this trolley company offers a once an hour pick up and drop off at several A1A beach hotels. Service was on time and dependable. Their instructions were always very clear. I even left my iPhone on one of the trolleys, and realized it 10 minutes after they departed. An employee radioed to the dispatcher. And we rode a trolley to a designated pick up point. All drivers were very friendly. During a brief rain storm, all passengers were even given free ponchos. (That most attractions charge for.) The only downside, which is minor, is hearing the same stories and information if you ride the route more than once. They circle blocks a lot too. If that’s the only downside, that’s pretty darn good! All the employees seemed happy. Which one doesn’t see much any more. I saw signage where the only animals allowed are service animals.
