People super friendly easy to get to stays open late in the week 10pm. I expected more thought the place had more exhibits. I was fooled by a couple weird shark photos thinking they were real saw them got so excited and then let down. Oh dang their fake. Lol. If you print your vouchers take ID at least one were last names match. We enjoyed the place just expected a little more. Just to seeing the surrounding area was worth going. Tickets were about $33.00 each for kids over 11.

"Kids loved it!"
December 2019
My children absolutely loved the aquarium. There is lots to do and see for all ages. One of my children has sensory issues and while it wasnt needed I appreciated that they had several low noise areas set aside in case they were needed. It is a lot of walking to get into the facility.

"Family fun for all ages"
December 2019
What an amazing time! My family traveled for a 10 day excursion to the mountains. We had a blast. The aquarium had exactly what we needed for all ages (3-49). The entire party of 8 enjoyed the interactions, the playlands and the excitement was electric with the shark watching up close and personal.

We have been here 3 times in the last 7 years but it never gets old. COVID takes part of the fun out of the visit but it is still a good time.

After having been to the Georgia aquarium, and the Chattanooga aquarium, we actually enjoyed this one best. We especially liked the penguins! It is well kept, and situated in the exciting downtown area, so you can walk around and sightsee when you’re done. The snack bar food was pricey, but overall, we recommend taking your family here.

This was on our list to visit and did not disappoint. We enjoyed the time spent here and loved the moving track to showcase the aquarium. I used my GoPro but also took photos on my phone, we fed the stingrays and were allowed to pet them. We wore our masks inside but if you want to visit you have to follow the rules, if not then wait. I heard that Georgia’s Aquarium is a lot bigger and cannot wait to see that one. We enjoyed our trip here and glad we added this to our list. If you’re ever in Gatlinburg, this is a must. Again, if you’re going to these places you are going to spend money to get in. You can’t complain about price and if so, stay home. I get that some places overcharge but you have employees to pay, animals to feed, electricity to pay, rent to pay, that stuff isn’t cheap but if you are, stay home. The price is reasonable.

"Good... but $40 per ticket was WAY overpriced"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

Enjoyed the aquarium itself. Nice moving exhibit with plenty of sharks. A few VERY large crabs and other interesting creatures (saw fish) as well. But lighting was very poor in most sections. Very crowded, and although masks very mandatory at entry, many people not wearing them. And a $40 per ticket for adults price was too high. Overall rated the 90 minutes we were there as poor

Awsome exhibits but was very crowded for a COVID19 pandemic. Some people not wearing mask but hands down a world-class family exhibit.
