Six flags discovery kingdom was a little bit of a disappointment. The park wasn't very clean and the food was super expensive. The animals are becoming fewer and fewer. The animal spaces are really small. It's nice to see the wolves and lions, but I wish they had more space for them. The park is more about the rides now. For hard-core riders, they will enjoy the park but not much else to do there.

The worst theme park experience iv ever had and been to many all over the world including orlando ans Paris Disney parks, universal parks, energylandia, many other UK and European parks even small parks such as lightwayer valley. This place was as an absolute disgrace. Staff have absolutely no idea what is going on, the majority I'm surprised couple even find the way to the toilet in the morning to clean there teeth. The rides are rusty and if you manage to get on 3 in a day your lucky with the unbelievably slow operations and unreal breakdowns. I struggle to understand how such a large company became so large with such poor parks. ABSOLUTLY SUKCS DONKEY SCHLONNG

"DO NOT GO TO SIX FLAGS DISCOVERY KINGDOM!!!!!"

Terrible experience at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom!! Still here in the park as I write this review. We spent $85 on premium flash passes and have only been on 2 & 1/2 rides in the 4 hours we’ve been here. Quickly got on Superman and Batman then half way through our Wonder Woman ride it broke down. Waited 45 min with premium flash pass for Monsoon Falls and 4 minutes till the line broke down. No accommodation from client relations manager Colleen nor Nina. Patrick at Flash Pass desk was unsympathetic and rude! Worst customer service ever!!! Got to Medusa and before we got on it broke down. This is absolutely awful! Spent $405 for 3 park tickets and 3 premium flash passes ( ultimate flash pass was $160, no thank you!!!)

My Six Flags experience has been very poor. We kept our membership through Covid and they offered a gift card or extra months for that 13 months they were closed I was never informed of this until I called to cancel my membership since my kids almost never used it. I was told that I would get three months added to the end of my membership after my cancellation date because I met my 12 month commitment and that I could go to any park and get the gift card For the dues paid during Covid. Mind you this is almost $400 over 13 months I made my last payment in June and asked to cancel so that the three months would extend over the summer if my kids wanted to go to the park. I went to my local park where I originally got my membership, called hurricane Harbor. They said I had to go all the way to American Canyon to get the gift card at Six Flags discovery Kingdom, two weeks later I went up to discovery Kingdom. This is an hour drive over in the bay area of San Francisco. When I got there they told me my membership was canceled. I was supposed to have three months onto the end and I really just wanted to get my gift card. I was bold that I couldn’t have my gift because my membership was expired Now I can only get 13 months extended onto the end of my membership. That’s not particularly helpful when my kids never go. I once again explained that I was supposed to have three months on the end of my membership and it should be valid until fall. They gave me a corporate number to call. I’ve called customer service three or four times been given. The runaround told it was my fault for canceling my membership. I never got my gift card. I never got my three months for my one year, commitment, and, they failed to refund the deposit that you have to make when you get a membership. Again, I’ve called many times so now I’m reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Oh dear, where to start. Horrible experience. We were lured into getting a season pass for our family of 5 because we thought it would be convenient to go 2x, aaaannnnd we won't be going back, which is a pity because the thrill rides are immensely better than Great America, Disney, etc. But dang, this is a poorly run place. 1. The bus from the parking lot! My husband was injured, so the maybe 4 minute ride was elongated to a 30 minute affair, with 0 urgency by the bus driver, long lines with no one really knowing if the bus was even running (the parking lot attendant was no help and could really care less), really inefficient loading and unloading. Absolutely no care to get customers efficiently either in the park or out. On a Labor Day weekend, it really should be 2 busses, not 1 trolley. 2. So many rides were not functioning either at all (Flash, water rides, balloons, railway) or for part of the day with no estimated time to reopen (the Taz hurricane, the kid roller coaster, Medusa), which meant that everyone was lined up and even more concentrated on fewer rides. All of which was not listed accurately on the website before we went to the park or spent money on tickets. 3. Wow the app is absolute TRASH and extraordinarily frustrating - a "5 minute" wait actually ended up being a 50 minute line on the Sky Screamer, the Batman listed "25 minute" wait and we were in line for over 90 minutes. So we ended up completely squandering our time and eventually just left because we have no expectation or gauge of what rides we should go on. On top of this, there is no line management - the lines for Batman went out the door even though inside the structure, the additional capacity lines were roped off. There are also no signs that say "1 hour from here" or at the door "estimated wait time" that would help kids better assess whether they can leave to go to the rest room. Is this not a BASIC? Hello, Disneyland can do it, you can do it too. 4. The shark tank had.... no sharks? Maybe 1 arm length one? Kids couldn't tell, but it was a lot of build up for a not a lot of payoff. 5. Small point, but the sting ray that are being pet are all sadly hiding in the crevice in the tank beyond the reach of all the kids. Which is essentially the entire vibe of this place.
