This was a last minute decision and one I’m glad we did! The place is big and the gators are separated into various areas depending on age ect. They had huge areas which was nice to see. I decided I wanted to feed the alligators before hand so I had my wallet ready and was expecting to pay an arm and a leg! I was so pleasantly surprised that it only cost $10!! You could also buy fish and feed the young gators off a fishing pole. $5 for 3 goes. The food we had was bbq and again fairly priced and decent. There’s so much to do here. Zip lines and ride a huge 4x4 out into the swamps. There is a lovely walk too out into the swamp area and it’s boardwalk so we had no trouble with our disabled sons wheel chair. There’s also a great splash park and play area!! The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly! If you get the chance then go here. You’ll not regret it. We’ve done most of the parks and this still beats most of them for the best days we’ve had in Florida! Keep up the good work!

This is our second visit to gatorland and I very much enjoyed it, with 3 exceptions, hence the 3 stars. Gatorland has loads of gators which seem to be well cared for. There are many birds which have free flight and fly around the park, with huge nests which appear natural overlooking a large pond/lake filled with gators. These birds were a highlight and would have been in cages in a zoo in the UK. There are also snakes in display boxes, but I was lucky/unlucky enough to see a wild snake, and a raccoon wondering in the park. The staff were all friendly from start to finish. However, there was a large gator in an enclosure of it's own because it 'didnt like others' or was a bully or something, anyway, I was u comfortable with the size of this enclosure for such a large gator. It didnt seem to move all day and was definately no room for it to swim. Secondly, I was uncomfortable with gator wrestling. Whilst I understand the 'educational' side (as there was very good commentary) it felt unnecessary to have them dragged by they're taild and then for people to sit over them. Thirdly; don't waste your money of the monster buggy thing. This was cheesy, and basically a small trip (10 minutes or so) over a few bumps and back again. I thought this would have been an opportunity to see gators in a swamp or something, but other than a small pond, it's not an animal experience, its just a short ride on a big buggy. Was lovely to see that this year, the white gators have a bigger place, and the swamp walk was open. Well done for this gatorland, but please put the bully gator somewhere larger asap.

We took our daughter who’s in a wheelchair here and she had the most amazing day. They treated us like royalty from the minute we arrived. They have tons of alligators and crocodiles. They taught us so much about them and they treat all of the animals so well. The baby alligator was so cute. Thanks so much for letting my daughter hold the snake and alligator. Her big brothers are so jealous. Hopefully one day we will be able to come back.
