"Our Favorite Orlando Park by far!!!!"
July 2016
Our day at Discovery Cove was amazing! The food was great, all the snacks and drinks you could want, a relaxing environment and the best snorkeling experience I have ever had (Hawaii included!) I wish we could have spent the whole week there. A 14 day Sea World pass was included with our tickets which just sweetened the deal!! I wish I could give it 6 stars!!

"Best experience EVER!!"
June 2016
Our children were 6&8 at the time we went. We did the dolphin swim and they loved it!! The trainers were AMAZING and spent time answering the questions our 6 y/o had ( wants to be a vet / dolphin trainer, why we did this)! It totally made her day!! Having it all inclusive was awesome! As we went from area to area we could stop at the cabanas and get snacks and drinks whenever we wanted! Breakfast and lunch were also very good! The reef water was freezing (there during a tropical storm) so we only made it to our knees, but touched the rays and fish we saw! ALL the lifeguards were very friendly and genuinely seemed to like their jobs, even the ones swimming through the lazy river scooping leaves out! This is an experience you simply must do at least once!

Tip: They operate rain or shine! The lazy river does get pretty deep at points if you have little ones or weaker swimmers!

"Trainer for a Day"

After a day at Disney, spending a day at Discovery Cove was a welcome change. While it is certainly more expensive, it is not when you consider how much time you spend on line at Disney and how there are no lines and no crowds at Discovery Cove. I opted to go all in and signed up for Trainer for a Day. I was with my 15 year old daughter. I was concerned that it would just be a VIP experience but it was much more than that. The day started at 8am when we met our trainer, Erin. She had a wealth of information and was eager to share it. We were escorted around, given a behind the scenes look at operations, had the opportunity for one-on-one interactions with other trainers and thier animals, and a second dolphin encounter which was so much better than the one everyone else gets. In addition we were given an underwater camera to use and all the photos were emailed to us at no additional cost. You still hve to buy the professional photos if you want pictures of the dolphin encounter but it was nice to have these other pictures to share with family and friends. The day went by quickly and I feel TFAD was worth the added cost if you want to keep busy. My daughter loved every minute of it. If you are content to have a lazy day in the water or on the beach then you shoud skip it. The food and beverages at Discovery Cove are excellent and it's just nice to have an all inclusive package.

We went to Discovery Cove this past weekend 1/18/2020. I was concerned when we made the reservations that the weather would not cooperate but it was a very nice day. We arrived in between 7:30-8:00. Check in was very quick and efficient. Breakfast was good--not great but it sufficed. They had eggs, sausage, french toast, biscuits, assorted pastries, and fruit. We then went to get our wet suits. We had a party of 8 and all but 1 chose wet suits. My husband is 6'4", 450 pounds and they had one to fit him. After swimming for awhile, we decided to change into the vests. These were more comfortable. I recommend the vests. We decided to get a cabana after being there for a while. I highly recommend getting a cabana. Kari was our cabana host and she kept the snacks, drinks, and towels supplied. She even took my husband's go pro and charged it when the batter died. Kari was awesome!! For lunch we all chose the steak on recommendation of a staff member. It wasn't great but again, like breakfast, it was good. The other selections may have been better but who knows since we all chose the steak. Swimming with the dolphins was a highlight for my girls (ages 8 and 10). The reef area had lots of fish and sting rays to swim with and look at while snorkeling. The windy river (lazy river) changes in depth frequently and there are signs to alert you when it gets deeper but there needs to be signs when it is shallow. I stubbed my toes several times. The birds in the aviary will fly onto people so if you don't like this, don't go in there. You may also end up with bird poop on you. The park closes around 5-5:30ish. I think it should stay open a little later especially when the weather is warmer. Overall, this was a good experience and we will visit again.

For a nice relaxing day come here. The snorkelling area is brilliant especially for someone like me who is not the most confident in the water. We did the swim with dolphins which was amazing. Grounds were well kept and food was good. Perhaps a few more changing facilities would help as things got a little busy at the end of the day with people trying to get showered but we'll worth it and a nice way to relax away from the hustle of the other parks.

Excellent day at Discovery cove - was made to feel welcome from first arrival. Swimming with dolphins was a highlight for me and my daughter and the dolphin was called Rose which my daughter loved as that is her middle name. Staff and instructors very knowledgeable and can tell the dolphins are very well treated. Also swam with manta rays and other gorgeous fish. Very chilled out day and food and drink was included. Very much needed after the madness of the other parks, This was truly a day to remember and was magical.

This is an amazing place. Very clean and great staff. You can swim with dolphins...sharks and sting Ray's. Nice beach areas and lazy river. Definitely worth it. Price of photos is ridiculous though. No need to charge so much.
