"Our Favorite Orlando Park by far!!!!"
July 2016
Our day at Discovery Cove was amazing! The food was great, all the snacks and drinks you could want, a relaxing environment and the best snorkeling experience I have ever had (Hawaii included!) I wish we could have spent the whole week there. A 14 day Sea World pass was included with our tickets which just sweetened the deal!! I wish I could give it 6 stars!!

"Best experience EVER!!"
June 2016
Our children were 6&8 at the time we went. We did the dolphin swim and they loved it!! The trainers were AMAZING and spent time answering the questions our 6 y/o had ( wants to be a vet / dolphin trainer, why we did this)! It totally made her day!! Having it all inclusive was awesome! As we went from area to area we could stop at the cabanas and get snacks and drinks whenever we wanted! Breakfast and lunch were also very good! The reef water was freezing (there during a tropical storm) so we only made it to our knees, but touched the rays and fish we saw! ALL the lifeguards were very friendly and genuinely seemed to like their jobs, even the ones swimming through the lazy river scooping leaves out! This is an experience you simply must do at least once!

Tip: They operate rain or shine! The lazy river does get pretty deep at points if you have little ones or weaker swimmers!

"DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!"

Do not spend your hard earned money on this establishment as they are a bunch of crooks. They require full payment at the time of booking, however, they do not follow through on refunding money. I called and cancelled our trip on April 10th due to the Covid Pandemic and I was promised a full refund (almost $800) per their cancellation policy. As of July 9th I have not seen a dollar. I have called, emailed, reached out on facebook and sent an instant message (per their request) and have yet to get a date as to when I will get my money back. They have stop replying to any of my requests. Their customer service is awful. Disney, Universal Studios and The Grove Resort were all able to refund my card with in 48 hours of cancelling. I repeat... DO NOT spend your money here if there is any chance you will need to cancel... and given the pandemic is is very likely that will happen.

"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER"

If I could leave zero stars I would. Discovery Cove has owed me over £700 for over 3 1/2 months!! After continuous emails and chasing they will not provide a payment date. Most emails are ignored! I posted on Facebook and they asked my to send a DM which was also ignored! This experience was bought as my children’s Christmas present and they were really upset that they didn’t get to go through no fault of their own. I want the money back to replace their Christmas presents but Discovery Cove could not care less!!

"Safest Place to Visit"

Couldn’t take the Covid any more and decided to get outta town for the weekend. Discovery Cove was the safest option being that it’s all outdoors in the hot Florida sunshine with limited visitors . The park was pretty empty. Plenty of room. Social distancing was easy here. The staff are doing a phenomenal job to keep everyone safe. The lazy river on a hot sunny day was perfect. The animals here are in great health and well taken care of. The altered dolphin experience was a surprise after paying for it and not being warned until we got there but it’s understandable. Dolphins are mammals and maybe they can get the virus. Best not to find out. They were nice enough to tell us that if we come back within a year we can use the same reservation number for the dolphin experience after they retrain them for social distancing. All these people complaining about refunds need to be a little more understanding, this place is losing millions of dollars. Overall this was the safest place to take a vacation. Definitely get a private cabana it’s worth the money.

"Great experience in COVID times"

As soon as you park your car you are guided to a large tent were you get your temperature checked and they hand out a comfort kit consisting of an amazing face mask with their logo and a hand sanitizer. From there on, there's very clear signage of the 6 feet distance, sanitizing stations everywhere and very welcoming staff trying to make this experience as cool as it can be in these crazy times. For this visit we did not do any specific bookings, just wanted to relax, eat, drink and feel like we had taken a short trip to paradise- because that is what Discovery Cove is.. For lunch you have to make reservations, we were there a couple of minutes after our scheduled time and we found no lines, great food and more welcoming staff, my son actually went back for more Mac n Cheese and I got an extra slice of their delicious cheese cake! There is a little more line than usual to get alcoholic drinks, but nothing crazy at all.. Snacks, sodas and slushees are there to grab so it makes it still very easy and convenient. Restrooms clean as usual and I felt the place wasn't crowded at all, plenty of room to walk around and available seating everywhere. Discovery Cove, once again 100% recommended!
