"Our Favorite Orlando Park by far!!!!"
July 2016
Our day at Discovery Cove was amazing! The food was great, all the snacks and drinks you could want, a relaxing environment and the best snorkeling experience I have ever had (Hawaii included!) I wish we could have spent the whole week there. A 14 day Sea World pass was included with our tickets which just sweetened the deal!! I wish I could give it 6 stars!!

"Best experience EVER!!"
June 2016
Our children were 6&8 at the time we went. We did the dolphin swim and they loved it!! The trainers were AMAZING and spent time answering the questions our 6 y/o had ( wants to be a vet / dolphin trainer, why we did this)! It totally made her day!! Having it all inclusive was awesome! As we went from area to area we could stop at the cabanas and get snacks and drinks whenever we wanted! Breakfast and lunch were also very good! The reef water was freezing (there during a tropical storm) so we only made it to our knees, but touched the rays and fish we saw! ALL the lifeguards were very friendly and genuinely seemed to like their jobs, even the ones swimming through the lazy river scooping leaves out! This is an experience you simply must do at least once!

Tip: They operate rain or shine! The lazy river does get pretty deep at points if you have little ones or weaker swimmers!

I liked this place because it was fun to swim with dolphins. I also like swimming with the stingrays and fish and the food was very good also. Especially the veggie burger I had that was made out of plants and vegetables and taste so nice and juicy. I also liked the Fanta Banana ICEE and the soft warm pretzels and soft warm cookies. All in all is was a funny time and would go again if we went to Florida.

"A must do park"

This park is awesome. Initial reaction is that it's expensive but it really isn't. There is so much good food readily available all day. The breakfast and lunch buffets are filled with a variety of delicious food and there's snacks and drinks available all day. You really can't be hungry at this park. The lazy river was wonderful with really warm cozy water. Before I forget to mention it, it's not a mob scene there because they limit how many people can come in per day. I wish all parks did that. There's a large pool filled with fish and lots of stingrays, etc that come right up to you. There's also plenty of snorkel gear. We paid extra for the dolphin swim which isn't really a swim. A group of people stand in a line and get to pet a dolphin as it passes by. It does some cute things and then one by one you get to hold onto the dolphin as it pulls you to shore from 50' out. It's still really neat. They also take photos for you to purchase. Expensive packages though so we didn't buy any. When we got our tickets we got the Sea Venture for free. It was an awesome experience but I didn't do it. I was able to put the helmet on and go under water but needed more time to adjust to see if I could handle staying under water. It's a slight fear of mine. My sister who was also scared had no problem though and neither did the rest of the family. They said it was really cool with fish swimming all around them. It's really well done. Again probably worth the extra fee. I'd highly recommend this park.

"Most amazing day, ever!"

We had an amazing experience at this luxury destination. What a way to end a Disney vacation! Relaxing in the sun while our happy kids got slushy after slushy in between snorkeling and riding the river was a dream. The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast and lunch was actually very good! We did the dolphin swim and I can’t begin to describe how it was to watch our four kids faces when our dolphin, Mireya, popped out of the water to greet us. I will never ever forget the joy I saw and felt at that moment. The property was a step above excellent, the lush landscape and layout gave it a more intimate feel. It never felt crowded. We did the picture package and with 6 of us getting 2 individual poses and then a few family shots, I felt it was worth the $200 price tag for the memories. I wish we had brought our own waterproof phone bag, they are $30 there and I’m sure I could have paid way less and brought my own. A suggestion for the park is to get more noodles for the river, we could never find any and had to do the river without them which was a little sketchy because of the 8ft drops and then sudden shallow spots where my husband scraped his knee pretty bad. We truly loved this day and will never forget it! Highly recommended!!

What a beautiful place this is, you could be anywhere in the world, you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Orlando and all of the theme parks. Discovery cove offers you a peaceful relaxing day that you would think impossible given where you are. The experiences are fantastic even if you don’t do the dolphin experience it is still worth a visit as there is much more to do float around the beautifully warm lazy river, snorkel with the fishes and the rays. No need to worry about beverages or food it is all supplied and plentiful. I can totally recommend hiring a cabana it’s a lovely base to operate out if if there is a group of you going, it has a secure locker and your very own fridge and snack box which is kept topped up. I cannot tell you how much my family and I enjoyed our day here. Eight of us went we ranged from 7 years to 58 years and we all loved it, and we went on a day when the weather was no so good in fact it was cold and cloudy but we still enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

Whole experience is lovely. Sounds expensive for one day but Seaworld and a Aquatica are included in the price. Plus food and drinks all day at DC. They only allow so many in so never too crowded. Lovely birds to see as well.
