"Great time!"
November 2019
I zip-lined for the first time ever at the suggestion of my boyfriend. Being afraid of heights, I was unnerved to say the least. Justin and Tim put my mind at ease and I ended up having a great time.

"Amazing adventure with Josh & Tim"
September 2019
I had absolutely NO intentions of doing any zip-lining. My husband wanted to do this so I rode to Foxfire to witness HIS adventure. After hearing about some of the other guests stories and being assured my glasses wouldn't fall off I made the hasty and rash decision to just "go for Goliath!" I am so glad I did. What an amazing activity! I wanted to remember the jokes Josh and Tim told but I was more focused on their instruction ..(.but the jokes kept coming anyway). Their attention to our safety, their confidence and their personalities made our first time zip line an unforgettable experience!
I even did the last line upside down...my husband chickened out, but he had fun also. We will also remember the outhouse, the treehouse and of course the hard Apple Cider! I plan on coming back with my sons and grandchildren and having a
another wonderful time!

"1st Time and it was the BEST!"
August 2019
We had so much fun. We had Greg and Josh (J-Low) as our guides. Both were awesome even with Josh's bad jokes. Hahaha. When we visit Tennessee again, we are definitely going to FoxFire! Maybe try the Goliath. Oh and the cider house....LOVE it! Was so much better than any wine tour or shine we had. Thanks for the memories!!

This was my first time zip lining and I was so scared at first. There staff was patient with me, helped calm me down and encouraged me to keep going. I am so happy I did.
My husband and I were on our honeymoon and it was the best experience.

"Overall Goliath Zip line was great! "
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed January 09, 2020 NEW
We did the Goliath and it was a great zip line. It was 5 zips in total, the third had the best view. We went in early January at 9am and it was very very cold. Our instructors were Justin and Tim. Justin was AMAZING, we all definitely nominate him for employee of the month. However, our experience with Tim was not great (further details in my “essay” below, haha). During our run through the course two of our group members did not make it all the way down the zip, partially due to bad form in the cannon ball but also just physics was not on our side. Tim was receiving us on the other end of the Zip on the first two towers (they switched after our incident on the second tower). During that second tower, the first group member who didn’t make it over was told by Tim to grab hold of the Zipline during the first few seconds where she came to a complete stop. She did not hear/understand him because that was not an instruction given to us during the orientation. She did not react in time and thus rolled back towards the middle of the zip and Tim had to go get her. Once he got to her in the middle of the Zip, he made upset and annoyed faces the entire way down and made a rude comment once they were back on the platform. Something along the lines of, it is easier for you to keep your legs up then for me to have to go get you. I don’t think that the comment was necessary. The second member of our group that did not make it was again told by Tim to grab hold of the Zip line in order to not roll all the way back. Since we, on the sidelines, had already seen the experience the first member had we tried to yell out the instructions so that it could be heard and understood. She also did not understand in time, but once she did, she tried to react. At that moment she injured her finger due to the trolley rolling back. At that point, Justin and Tim switched spots so that Justin received us instead and he did a fantastic job being attentive if someone was not going to make it through all the way and react in time to grab/catch them before they rolled away. Tim was better, attitude wise later in the session. Although I do understand it is labor intensive to have to go get the person halfway down the line, I don’t believe that it should be instructed on the spot to grab hold of the zip line. If it is something that is expected of the client, it should be something that is instructed during the orientation and gloves should be given as part of the equipment available. Better first aid items should be available for potential injuries as well.

"Zip Lining"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We had a blast zip lining with our guides Josh and Robbie!! They did a fantastic job making us comfortable during our 1st time zip lining by cracking jokes and encouraging us to do tricks throughout the course. We did the waterfall course (perfect for 1st time) and are hoping to come back to do the Goliath!! The course is set up with gradually increasing length of lines so by the longer ones you don’t even hesitate and are just focused on how fun it is. We were even able to ride upside down and do flips by the end. We would highly recommend FoxFire to anyone looking to zip line as well as enjoy the little “village” and rope bridge/trail afterward. The entire area and beautiful views as well as the fantastic guides made the experience!!
