Sammi the guest ambassador was wonderful, so helpful and welcoming! we are still waiting on our room to be ready, we are currently at the pool and are very pleased with how pretty the facilities is. I will say looking at the hotel. It does look like it needs some updating on the exterior.

This was truly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, I am so glad to leave. If I hadn’t been on a work trip I would have left immediately upon checking in. The room was disgusting, smelled of moisture and was so old. My colleague literally encountered VOMIT on her carpet upon entering. The odd number rooms in the “villas” aka shacks are facing the parking lot and you hear everything and I mean everything…People rolling luggage, phone conversations, your neighbor talking, every car lock/start/drive away. AWFUL, avoid this run down old motel at all costs. Thankful I had slippers and didn’t have to put my bare feet on the carpet. All of my colleagues had this same awful experience, there were 11 of us.

Loved that Carol checked in with us about our stay! Love the cookies of course and I like that it feels like a resort without the 4 digit price tag. Laguna has been delicious and I am a bit bummed that the hot tub was being fixed, but it worked out because it was quite chilly anyway during our stay. This is my third stay here and clearly I keep coming back for a reason.
