We recently stayed three days at the doubletree hotel located next to Sea World. Our room was excellent and service was great. I highly recommend staying here if you in the Orlando area.

"This is not Hilton quality"

Went for Thanksgiving weekend and booked through the Hilton website without giving it a second thought. We were given a room at the main tower that was handicap accessible (for no reason). The room felt moldy, smelled terrible, and the bathroom shower was very uncomfortable and moldy. We asked to be switched rooms after the first night. We were then moved to a villa. It smelled 30% better, but it still had a moldy smell to it. Walls are paper thin which means we didn’t get any sleep on all 4 nights we were there. We came to find out this place is independently managed by another company and they use the Hilton name. This property is old, moldy, and just plain DIRTY. It has been one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had in my life.

ok on arrival we were given a room in block 4 number 444.(we had requested a room with a balcany in block 1) which i can only presume was a pet friendly room as it smelt of dogs. ( i dont have pets and i can smell them a mile off) the lampshades were broken it was dark and nails were coming through the carpet. we complained and were moved the next day to room 136, which was nice it was also dark, and the cleanliness was not all it could be you can go look behind and underneath th bed dividing cabinet there is dirt dust and old hairbands still there also behind the tv cabinet the room service would not turn up until late sometimes 3-5pm when we had returned from our trips. except on the day of checkout and she was knocking on the door at 8am and agian at 10am when we were packing.... on the positive side the grounds are lovely the food is good even though it is expensive compared to other hotels (that is likley the reason the restaraunt is empty lunch and evening). i have stayed at this hotel several times but am dissapointed in it now.

"12/12-4/19 Family Disney visit"

Trip Advisor incorrectly posted my review for the Hilton Hotel near Seaworld. We stayed at the Doubletree Hotel near Seaworld. As a member of HH since 1989, this was the worst stay at this Doubletree. Upon check-in we were told all our reservations were canceled. I showed them our Travelzoo promotion pre check email and the front desk person Anna from Columbia did next to nothing until I demanded as a HH member for action. We were eventually given a room and they blamed Travelzoo but that was false due to amazing CS people at Travelzoo who confirmed it was all Doubletree! We get a room and enter to find the toilet and faucet with no water!! We call the desk and they say give us 20 minutes to fix. Four hours later we again demand another room after received a hand delivered letter saying the whole building was fixing a leak and no time given for a fix! The two story buildings around the Tower all need to be renovated immediately if not sooner. A horrific experience for a Family stay near Disney World!

"Fantastic disney stay"

Took our 5 year old daughter to disney for 2 weeks and decided to stay on International drive, so glad that we did and already booking up for next year hopefully staying here again. We stayed in the part which wasnt the tower, room cleaned every day and loved the complimentary coffee. Fridge in room which was very important for us, had great sleep while there the bed was so comfy, had a room with 2 double beds. There are 2 pools, one with a bar which was always busy but we never used it and the family pool which we only used twice due to spending most of time at Disney however was nice to use particularly on the morning prior to being picked up for the airport. The room is spacious and has a free safety deposit box. There is a restaurant in hotel a bar and pizza place. Used the pizza place a few times and it was tasty and good value for a hotel. Always ate out for breakfast so cant comment on that, the lobby bar was always busy and looked nice. Staff were very friendly and accomodating whenever we needed them, check in was easy. Like most hotels they asked for a credit card on checking in for incidentals. We only had cash and a revolut pre-paid card so we argued that we were not willing to have money taken off us and they agreed and very good about it. I didnt notice many other families staying for disney, there were lots of people there for various conferences and the hotel is clean and very nice. Staff at front of hotel were very friendly, im not sure exactly what they do? I think they park cars and book your taxis but they were always talkative and very friendly. We decided not to rent a car and im glad we didnt, i booked about 30-40 lyft journeys whilst there and they were very cheap and easy to use with the app. Also apart from one occasion they were always with us whether it be at hotel or disney within 4-5 minutes. We also used the itrolley a couple of times and there was honestly no reason for us to use a car. You can also get between parks within disney and Disney springs using the transport at Disney. Saying that one day we wanted to go fro Magic Kingdom to Animal kingdom, we were gonna use the bus but it was easier to pay $8 for the lyft. I recommend Walgreens for any shopping, the market across the road is expensive although the liquor store isnt too bad. There is also a subway an italian an indian and a sports bar which i would have definatley used had it not been for having my 5 year old. As a brit it was weird to see people smoking in this bar. There is a mcdonalds around a 10 minute walk away next to a dunkin doughnuts. On idrive itself theres loads to do, we went to a few restaurants whilst there but most of the time we got back from Disney late and got a take away. Highly recommend chinese over the road, so good ive done a seperate review (Ming dragon express). Also recommend Millers ale house, always packed with great food and drink. Disney was an amazing experience, gonna come back next year probably for longer and maybe do Universal too. Seaworld is right next to hotel. We booked with Virgin and they were very good, but i would recommend using an Uber or Lyft from airport it was coming up at $25. Shot journey too and dont have to worry about other hotel drops. Free wifi which was reliable and fast, loads of channels in room on tv. Disney is so good but although i cant compare it im glad we stayed at this hotel, it is so busy at Disney and very expensive so im glad we had the peace and ability to go where we want when we wanted. Finally recommend the outlets, the one at the start of trolley stop 1 is the best, loads of shops and huge discounts. We took a day off parks to get here. One last tip, apparantly the cars are supposed to stop for you on the crossing over road however some do and some dont and its quite dark so be careful. The itrolley stops are right outside hotel going both ways, we brought a week pass for only $9 i think.

I stay here all the time, great staff, rooms in the tower building are clean and newish. Breakfast is great and so is the restaurant staff. One recommendation to the hotel, get chargers for electric cars. You’ll attract more guest with such an easy amenity, I think Tesla will even give your the equipment and put your property on their location map.
