Cannot review the pools as I did not use it. Grounds were well kept and I saw people working during the day and night picking up trash and cleaning. I say that to say although it is a dated hotel it is clean and well kept. My husband and I ended up going to Orlando last min and needed a cheap and convenient hotel and this one delivered. Love that parking was included in the resort fee. We stayed in the tower and only complaint was that the alarm went off in the middle of the night randomly. Also there was a beeping noise around the room. Also there seemed to be a gate that went from the grounds to SeaWorld

I truly wanted to love this hotel. After booking a room for the long weekend at another property, we were practically forced to find alternative lodging due to roaches, broken AC & an expired elevator certificate of inspection. I had a pretty generous discount here at the Doubletree on a room thanks to being a pass holder at SeaWorld so decided to relocate here from the previous horrific establishment. I’m still not sure if I made the right decision or not. Roaches or mildew & mold? Hmmm... My family & I have switched rooms FOUR times due to sheer dirtiness & an overwhelming smell of mold. The first room was ground floor at the villas. Proximity to the family pool was appealing but was overshadowed by the dusty, rusty room. Room number two (in the tower this time) literally had an area of wet carpet. An apology & $50 credit to our account later we move next door for relocation three & can’t get two feet inside without almost being knocked out by the smell of mold. David (management on duty) assured me that an appropriate room would be found. Another $50 credit. We head to dinner (THAT was super frustration also...) and I proceed to the front desk to see David to go scout out available rooms on property as he had instructed me to do. Well, David was now off of work. I was then informed that only one more room was available & if it wasn’t to my “liking” there would be nothing else management could do. Really? I can actually SEE the mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom. As much as I appreciate the account credits to spend on property, I would much prefer a CLEAN, FRESH room. My allergies are wreaking havoc on me as well as my kids & husband. We’re exhausted from moving from place to place. It’s been such an inconvenience & has made what was supposed to be a stress-free weekend getaway anything but.

Very nice compact kichen. Microwave and frig. Just stayed overnight but rooms were clean. Property looked well taken care of and had a nice looking swimming pool. The resort was quite large with several buildings.

Stayed at this hotel. First step in the hall and it smelled musty. Room was nice size, but continue with the musty smell. When the air conditioning kicked on it was like a dust storm. There were connecting rooms to ours and you could hear everything thru the door.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days. I had made my reservation 3 months in advance. When I checked in at the counter, they didn't have any rooms available for me. I was told that the only room they had was an accecible room. I accepted it, and went to the room and realized that there was no bath tub/door in the bathroom because it was an accecible room. I went down to the lobby (long walk from the tower). I was treated by another person, I told them that this is not what I had reserved. They gave me a room in the outside buildings (more like motel). I was given a room in building #4 (again a long walk from the lobby) at the ground level. As soon as I entered the room, I realized that it had muggy smell, plus it was on the ground level, which means more noises/distractions at night. I am a Hilton honors member, and when I had made my booking(3 months in advance), I had specifically asked for a room away from the elevator and on a higer floor. Obviously, no one had ever taken a look at my request. By this time, I was frustrated since I had to take my luggage with me from one building to another in the heat, still trying to check in and find a decent room. I went back to the front desk again. This time I am treated by a 3rd person. I had to raise my voice and ask her to find me a decent room. She said "let me so what I can free up for you"....and surprise surprise, she was magically able to find a room in the tower (where they gave me an accecible room earlier). I checked in. The room was good. Two days in, and on the third day, when I came back to my room in the evening, I was a puddle of water on the carpet the room. I thought may be the cleaner dropped some water. I disregarded it. Again, on 5th or 6th day, I saw a big puddle of water in my room. I called the front desk at around 9.30 or so and told them to send someone with a wet vaccuum to clean up the mess. They said they will send someone. I waited for 15 minutes, and no one came. I called again. Soneone else picked up this time, and I had to explain the situation to them again. They promised me again that they will send someone. NO ONE CAME. I called again after another 10-15 minutes and told them that I had been waiting and would like to go to sleep, so they should send someone again. This time again, another person picked up and she said that she had JUST GOT IN and wasn't aware of the request. They finally sent 2 gentlmen. They were very polite and cleaned up the mess. They said that the puddle may be caused by the AC in the room. Which made sense as the water puddle was near the went. My last day there. I called in around 8.30am and asked for late checkout. I was told that I will have the room until 12.30p.m instead of 11.00am. 10 minutes later, someone knocked at the door. I opened the door and a cleaner lady asked me if I am checkign out today, and at what time. I told her about my late checkout. 15 minutes later, someone else knocked again. Asked the same question. At this point, I was frustrated and asked them to ask the front desk instead of bothering me over and over. She started walking inside the room telling me that I should have put a "late checkout sign" on the door. I wasn't aware of this and the front desk never told me about it when I requested late checkout. I had to ask her talk with the front desk and not bother me again. When I finally checked out, no one even botherd to ask how my stay was or whether I had any comments/feedback for them. They just took the keys for me and waved bye. I am never staying at this particular location again. I am actually doubting whether I should stay at any Hilton hotels after this experience.
