"A Nice Room Except For The Bugs"

I scratched for weeks because of the tiny little bugs running to and fro on the little desk by the window and no one will ease my mind and tell me that they were benign little creatures and not the dreaded ones that causes an infestation if you bring them home with you. I had been for the convention next door, we checked in and came back that evening. The room seemed fine, we just needed it for a nights sleep and shower. When we were checking out the next morning I sat my bottle on the little desk by the window and when I picked it back up the bottom was covered in tiny little creatures. When I looked at the desk - tiny little bugs were crawling all over it. It wasn't ants or anything like that. They were smaller, much smaller and they looked like something I wouldn't want to bring home with me. I altered the staff when we were checking out and was disappointed that they didn't want to come up and check it out for themselves. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me what type of insects they were and whether I should be worried about anything I might bring home with me, I was just told that the insect control people would be there Wednesday, so I waited for a report. No one contacted me so I contacted guest services via email... at the end I was told that the room was given a clean bill of health. I am not sure what that may mean. Was there no bugs present when they inspected or was there something there and they successfully eliminated the problem? What I wanted to know was what were they. I had exiled my luggage from the main house while my husband and I scratched the (perhaps self created from fear of being infested) welts on our skin. I have video of the roommates running about on the desk if someone wants to look at it in tell me what they are.

Very clean, perfect hotel for a trip to Sea World. SKY at the front desk was one of my favorite parts of my stay! She is so friendly and accommodating. I came down to the lobby very early in the morning because I couldn’t sleep and she hopped up to make me a fresh pot of coffee while chatting me up about our travels. We’ll be back!

I truly enjoyed my visit at the true by Hilton Hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. The front desk host name was truly amazing with excellent hospitality service. Sky accommodated me and my husband as we arrive early, she assisted with providing our for us. This trip would not have been pleasant without Sky. I give her the five Starr. She made my stay SWEET.
