"Overpriced, oversold, overrated unless your kids are in kindergarten."

Awful, if you are older than 5 years old. In which case if you are reading this you are a genius… we went with two teens and cruised through in less then 10 minutes for hefty price of 150$!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Nothing to see at all…

"Birch IS worth a visit, for different reasons"

Lots of fun at Birch Aquarium. Parking was good, look to left as the aquarium is on the right. It looks to be a university supported aquarium. Much smaller than I expected, but still lots and lots of marine life to look at. There was a petting pool as well as penguins, but all in we were there less than two hours. It's not Shedd Aquarium from Chicago, but it is much better than most aquariums, very well organized and friendly staff. I do recommend a visit, but temper your expectations. I'm going to safely assume the admission is funding research, as this doesn't look to be a private endeavor.

"Disappointing day at Birch"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

Our day at Birch Aquarium was disappointing. We knew before buying tickets that part of the facility was closed for construction of a new exhibit, so that was expected. What was not expected was that another major display was closed off due to a private event. This left us with just a couple of the exhibits to see for the pre-paid full-price tickets. It took us less than an hour to see everything that wad available. Staff was very nice and was empathetic that we had limited access.

"Don’t waste your money!!!"

I would give 0 stars if I could. The best thing about this place was the view of the ocean. While they mentioned there was a section closed when I purchased our tickets, I didn’t realized it was basically the ENTIRE Aquarium. There were probably 10 tanks available for viewing and almost all of them were filled with seahorses. It took approximately 10-15 mins to walk through the Aquarium. It was certainly not worth our time or the $85 I sent on our tickets. I would NEVER visit again.

"Meh, but they have blue penguins"

Over priced and small this zoo is only worth about 30 min. And that is only to see the adorable blue penguins and cool weedy sea dragons. Don’t go out of the way to visit.
