"Wonderful, relaxing reminder of the ocean world"

This is a small aquarium but very well done. Loads of information on sea life, beautiful tanks. COVID restrictions mean you need to book in advance but it also makes the visit much more intimate and relaxing. Glad to see they are making it through!

"Little Gem"

I like aquariums. I’ve been to many. This little gem has a nice collection, thoughtfully displayed. They have done a good job meeting Covid protocols. We felt safe and unhurried. One side is geared more for kids with a comic book scheme. It’s a clever way to make a collection of specimens in jars interesting. It’s a nice break from all the water sports, hiking and bicycling there is to do in San Diego!

"Nice but on the smaller side of aquariums"

Not the biggest of aquariums but all their exhibits are high quality and very informative. If you're in the area, it's worth the visit, but you only need about an hour or so.

Terrific little jewel nestled on the coast. Took the grand kids there and it was totally enjoyable watching them stare in wonder at all the sea creatures! Would do it again!

"Nice aquarium"

Birch Aquarium is a nice smaller aquarium. (Not as big as Chicago or Atlanta) It overlooks the ocean, a great view. There are things for the kids to do out back of the aquarium. The aquarium has many different species, including rays and giant sea turtles, even a few sharks. I would recommend going.
