Explore San Diego Harbor and the Gaslamp Quarter in a storytelling GoCar that will guide you by GPS and share stories, fun facts and recommendations along the route.
There are two types of GoCars you can drive for this tour: The Classic Gocar (30 MPH top speed), or upgrade to an electric-powered E-Sport GoCar (75 MPH top speed).
This San Diego tour lasts for 1 hour and covers a distance of about 20 miles.
Highlights include the Gaslamp Quarter, USS Midway, Seaport Village, Maritime Museum, and more.
You will need a valid driver’s license and must be at least 21 years old to rent and drive a GoCar.
You can stop and get out of the GoCar as many times as you want, as long as you return it by the end of your reservation.
Pick up and drop off the GoCar at the GoCar Tours office located at 3918 Mason Street, San Diego, CA 92110.

Leave your guidebook behind and zip through the heart of San Diego in a GPS-guided talking GoCar.

The one-hour GoCar San Diego Harbor tour takes you on a multi-cultural journey of San Diego, starting in Little Italy, where you learn about the rise and fall of San Diego’s Italian population. Your tour continues past the Maritime Museum, the USS Midway, and into the beautiful Seaport Village. You also get to travel past Horton Plaza which practically begs be visited again after the tour ends.

After Horton Plaza, you'll make your way into the heart of San Diego, with a quick loop around the Home of San Diego Padres and into the Historic Gaslamp Quarter which, after its reinvention, is now MUCH more family-friendly than it used to be. As you leave the Gaslamp Quarter, you will enter Banker’s Hill, which has unique shops and also borders the always beautiful Balboa Park.

GoCars hold a maximum of two people and are priced per GoCar, not per person. Go green and cover more ground with an upgrade to an ESport (electric) model with a top speed of 75mph.
