"Everything a Resort Should Be — Relaxed, Beautiful, and Exceptionally Welcoming"

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew we’d made the right choice. The setting is gorgeous — open, airy, and steps from the water — and every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely happy to help. A special shout-out to Micah at check-in, who made us feel right at home from the start. Our second-floor room was bright, spacious, and spotless, with a balcony overlooking the park, Mission Bay, and even SeaWorld in the distance. The décor struck the perfect balance between casual and elegant, and the bed was heavenly — firm but comfortable, with perfect pillows and a comforter that kept us cozy without being too warm. The room was blissfully quiet at night, and once we drew the curtains, completely dark — perfect for a great night’s sleep. Even the in-room coffee maker was impressive (and we’re picky about coffee!). The bathroom was spotless and beautifully maintained — plenty of light, excellent shower pressure, and not a single thing out of place. If we’re being extra picky, we’d love to see a USB-C outlet in future updates — but that’s entirely on us for forgetting an adapter. We enjoyed a fantastic walk along the bayfront path, relaxed at the pool fire rings with cocktails, and chatted with a friendly family visiting from London — the kind of spontaneous experience that makes a resort special. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious (eggs benedict and garden omelet were both excellent), though at about $75 with tip for two, we did laugh at the “resort pricing.” Worth it for the view and service, though. Parking was secure, well-marked, and easy to access, which made coming and going stress-free. All in all, San Diego Mission Bay Resort delivered everything we’d hoped for and more. We’re already planning to return every few weeks as our home base when visiting family — it’s that good. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a warm, relaxing, and memorable stay.

"Excellent Conference in SD Mission Bay Resort"

We held our COADN/CACN Conference at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort, and I was part of the COADN planning group. We had an excellent experience with the hotel coordinator, Sally Hannah, and the rest of her team. The group chat/text feature provided a simple yet highly effective way to communicate our needs during the conference—it allowed us to receive quick responses and real-time updates on our requests. The food was delicious, and the outdoor lunch by the waterfront was absolutely wonderful, enhanced by San Diego’s beautiful sunny weather. The vendor packages were delivered to their booths/tables on time, which made setup smooth and stress-free. Our audiovisual and technical support team from SNA, particularly Jonathan and Matt, were outstanding—both were professional, respectful, and attentive throughout the event. We are already looking forward to returning next spring 2026 for our next conference!

"Beautiful surroundings! Friendly and personable staff."

We stopped by San Diego Mission Bay to check out the accommodations and evaluate whether this would be a good place to have a family 'Get-Together'. We were we impressed with the surroundings and how it certainly would meet the needs for young children, teenagers, and older adults. I commend 'Ryan' for taking the time to plan a future stay for a large family get-together. Never expecting this to be done right there and then. The two of us decided to stay overnight and experience for ourselves the personable, friendly staff and the beautiful surroundings and all Mission Bay has to offer. Looking forward to our future family Get-Together.

"Relaxing Family Getaway at Mission Bay"

We stayed at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort in October and had a wonderful family getaway. The weather was perfect, warm during the day and cool in the evenings, ideal for spending time outdoors. We loved hanging out by the bay, enjoying the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere. The resort had plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Playing pickleball together was one of the highlights, the courts were well-maintained and easy to access. The location couldn’t have been better; it’s just a short drive to Old Town San Diego and SeaWorld, which made planning day trips super convenient. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe was relaxed and family-friendly. We’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and fun in a scenic setting. We’re already talking about coming back next year!
