"Much Respect deserved"

We loved our visit to the USS Midway. I mean, where else can you actually get on a battleship. My love and pride for our military went up a few notches after seeing it. It’s close to Seaport Village so you can do both.

"Well organized, well put together"
April 2019
We thought we would only need a few hours, but we were the first on the ship and we stayed all day. Take the little speaker thing they give you when you first walk in. They did a really nice job of making small pieces of information come to life with first hand experiences of the men who lived it. Also sit and listen to the guys in the yellow hats. So informative and interesting. The movie was better than expected.

"No seasickness here!"
December 2018
We prebought our tickets and moved right along. For as long as the lines were, there was plenty of room to pause and take pictures. Seeing the demonstrations at top deck was very informative. The kids enjoyed sitting in the planes and helicopters. Walking thru the gully’s to see sleeping quarters, kitchen and laundry was great. Would return again.

I spent a couple of hours here and it was very interesting. I was on my own and could get around easily and fast. The ship is well maintained and getting inside was fascinating. The volunteers are great too - you can ask as many questions as you like. No vegan food options though...

"A Great Day and Experience"

This is a must see! Even though most of the ship was off limits due to Covid, we still thoroughly enjoyed our visit (& felt very safe and welcome)! The best part for me was listening to the docents talk (explaining how things on the ship work and telling us about their experiences). Its my personal opinion that all Americans should visit a military museum or experience of some kind to put things in perspective. We so often take our freedoms for granted. Being on the flight deck was simply amazing! We actually went back to our hotel that evening and watched the Midway movie! My son now want to do a report about Midway. Thank you Midway Museum for the great day!

My experience at the midway was great. The ship was is great condition and well maintained. The docents were very helpful and wore the proper face protection. During COVID-19, parts of the ship were not open, the only open parts are the hangar and the flight deck. When it fully opens up, I would gladly go back to finish the tour.
