We loved our visit to the USS Midway. I mean, where else can you actually get on a battleship. My love and pride for our military went up a few notches after seeing it. It’s close to Seaport Village so you can do both.

"Well organized, well put together"
April 2019
We thought we would only need a few hours, but we were the first on the ship and we stayed all day. Take the little speaker thing they give you when you first walk in. They did a really nice job of making small pieces of information come to life with first hand experiences of the men who lived it. Also sit and listen to the guys in the yellow hats. So informative and interesting. The movie was better than expected.

Tip: go to the tour of "the Island" first. go through all the small parts of the ship -- so much to see.
