Held on select nights this holiday season at Walt Disney World, the Orlando Christmas event adds a dose of holiday cheer to your Orlando vacation. Featuring live entertainment, dazzling fireworks and a festive parade, this party – hosted by Mickey himself – is a sure way to create memories with the ones you love.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special after-hours event that promises jolly fun for everyone. The Disney World event features an exclusive holiday fireworks extravaganza – Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. Likewise, nothing is more enchanting than the Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle. Character greetings, complimentary cookies and hot cocoa and a magical snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A., are all part of the experience. Also, live entertainment featuring your favorite Disney Characters is central to your magical evening.
Tip: Be on the lookout for Disney favorites dressed up in their best holiday attire throughout the park. Bring your camera and autograph book for this one of a kind meet-and-greet holiday experience.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration returns for 2019 as Mickey Mouse and friends prepare for a holiday party of epic proportions featuring all the Disney greats—from Peter Pan to Donald Duck!
“A Frozen Holiday Wish” also returns in 2019. Watch as Cinderella Castle is transformed into a glistening ice castle with all the stars from Frozen!
Tip: Do know that show schedules are subject to change at any time. Double check the schedule of events before arriving at the park. To secure the best seats, plan out which shows you’d like to see and get to the castle or stage at least 30 minutes early.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
This a is a true highlight of the event. Not only does it feature Mickey Mouse and friends, but Santa Claus also makes a special appearance too. From dancing gingerbread men to Olaf, everyone loves a holiday party on Main Street USA.
Tip: For the best view of the parade, secure your spot at the end of Main Street. This will give you a full view of Cinderella’s Castle while the parade marches to you. Talk about a memorable holiday experience!
Castle Dream Lights
Cinderella’s Castle enchants visitors as it is covered in thousands of twinkling lights, covering the castle in a dazzling “blanket of ice” for a wintry effect.
Over in Tomorrowland, guests can revel in at an out-of-this-world Christmas party. Hosted by Haley Comet, this intergalactic holiday party features Mike Wazowski, Stich, Buzz Lightyear, and more. Further, in Club Tinsel, guests can dance the night away at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café.
Dates, Times & Cost
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be held November 8 through December 22, 2019, on these select nights, from 7:00 pm to Midnight at the Magic Kingdom:
- November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22 and 24
- December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20 and 22
- Event Time: 7 pm to midnight
Tip: While all aspects of this magical holiday event begin at 7:00 pm, guests with a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket can enter as early as 4:00 pm. If you arrive this early, you’ll have plenty of time to experience all of your favorite rides and attractions before the holiday celebrations begin.
Admission to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not included with the purchase of regular Disney Magic Kingdom tickets. Further, prices for tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party start at $89/per person.
