Known as one of America’s most beloved restaurants, New York City’s Gramercy Tavern has earned nine James Beard Awards, including “Outstanding Restaurant” and “Outstanding Chef in America.”

The Michelin-starred Gramercy Tavern offers modern American dining, warm hospitality, and unparalleled service. For over two decades, chef and co-owner Michael Anthony’s seasonal menu has pleased crowds with his legendary cuisine.

Since its opening in 1994, this celebrated restaurant in New York’s Flatiron District between Broadway and Park Avenue provides fixed-price-only dining and a bustling bar. Restaurateur Danny Meyer picked a historic landmark building in lower Manhattan just north of Union Square for his ‘New American’ fine-dining destination.

In addition to the James Beard Awards, Gramercy has won outstanding reviews and positive press recognition. Critics rave not only about Gramercy’s exceptional cuisine but the service and atmosphere are top-notch. Gramercy’s Bar is considered an essentially different restaurant, though slightly less formal but with the same impeccable service and delicious fare.

Gramercy's Dining Room offers an elegant five-course tasting menu highlighting seasonal ingredients. Dishes evolve based on what local farmers and purveyors have available.

Dining room prices range from $14-$18 for appetizers and $22-28 for main courses. A three-course dinner costs $98, while a seven-course tasting is upwards of $158. Gramercy offers wine pairing with entrees and showcases a wide selection of fine wines and craft beers.

Gramercy Tavern menu also changes each season and features dishes like the Tavern Burger served with duck fat potato chips and smoked onion aioli, lamb ravioli, beef tartare, pork loin, and tortiglioni, a butternut squash dish served with mushroom, and parmesan.

The New York-based architecture firm Bentel & Bentel designed the Gramercy space with elegant rustic, neo-Colonial décor. Gramercy’s Dining Room can seat up to 130 guests, while the Bar can accommodate 60 people. Gramercy’s also hosts a private dining room that seats 12 to 22 patrons.
