Asheville Outlets, an open-air shopping destination near downtown Asheville, features covered breezeways, fountain seating, and modern affordability to visitors.

The Asheville Outlet mall, formerly Biltmore Square Mall, is a shopping center just off I-26 that offers top brands from some of the best names in fashion. Also, the mall is located close to major attractions, Asheville Outlets has something for everyone.

The mall opened in 1989 as Biltmore® Square Mall, the original shopping center of the Biltmore® Park Town Square. In addition to hosting some of the most prominent designers in the fashion industry, the Asheville Outlets offers high-end style favorites for discounted prices. These brands include Coach Outlet, Banana Republic Factory Outlet, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Cole Haan Outlet, and J.Crew Factory.

In 2006 Symphony Property Group purchased the shopping center and increased the property by adding an additional 83,000 square feet. With this expansion, the mall obtained Cinebarre, a movie theater that serves both food, beer, and wine. The sale of alcohol has a history of bolstering flailing theater chains’ economy. Cinebaree serves spirits before and during the screening of films.

Managers reconstructed the outlet store concept in 2014 with Asheville Outlets' new name.  The mall underwent a revival with New England Development's help, and the outlets added significant anchor stores like Dillard’s Clearance Center, Restoration Hardware, Field & Stream, and Sportsman Warehouse.

Asheville Outlets partners with area hotels for popular Shop & Stay packages. Therefore, visiting guests in the rewards program receive special room rates, free gifts, coupon books, and exclusive store discounts.

With close to 65 additional stores, the mall’s popularity rose. In addition, the mall includes Ann Taylor Factory Store, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, GAP Factory Store, Nike Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, and Vera Bradley.

The Asheville Outlets welcomes pets. The center features a drinking fountain for dogs behind the West Elm store. Also, different stores have different pet policies, so check each store individually before entering. As a pet-friendly shopping destination, the mall offers a way station and ample green space for furry friends. The center asks visitors to behave responsibly and pick up after their pet.
