Returning in its 18th year at the Aquarium of the Pacific, Moopetam American Indian Festival celebrates indigenous cultures with storytelling, music, and craft demonstrations.
This annual event honors the contributions and rich traditions of California maritime heritage, such as Acjachemen, Tongva, Costanoan, Chumash, Kumeyaay, and Luiseno. Prepare to be carried away by their sounds, watch their expressive dances, and taste their unique delicacies. Plus, you’ll learn about basket weaving, wood carving, and more.
Moopetam American Indian Festival runs from September 17 to 18, 2022, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
