The museum is located at 209 West Saint Julian Street in the City Market Portion of Savannah, GA. The front doors are located in the courtyard of City Market closest to Ellis Square, between Wild Wings Café and Rhen’s Nest Toy Shop.
Please note that the museum’s general admission ticket is for a self-guided tour.
On average, most visitors spend 45 minutes to an hour in the museum.
Visitors should be aware that drinks are not included in the tour price and that the Speakeasy is closed on Sundays.
Guests under the age of 21 will not be permitted to enter the Speakeasy.

Located in Savannah’s City Market, this museum allows guests to pull back the curtain on the far-reaching consequences of the thirteen years of Prohibition.

Visitors will see life in the early 1900s as anti-alcohol rallies swept the nation and the “booze problem” was pushed to the forefront of American politics. The museum is open 364 days a year, from August 1st through March 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last admission at 4:15 p.m. (Closed on St. Patrick’s Day.)
