Overview

Featuring family-friendly interactive comedy in a classic “who dunnit”-type show, the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater makes for a fun dinner and entertainment experience while visiting Myrtle Beach. During each meal, a fake murder takes place, and guests are in charge of determining who the killer is. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal throughout the entire event.

Description

from Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

An interactive comedy "Who dunnit" dinner show. A murder happens during the course of your meal and you are held in the middle of a murder investigation. Everyone is a suspect. Figure out who the killer is and you may be rewarded! (This event is recommended for ages 13 and up/or parents discretion. It is rated like a PG-13 show).

The menu is subject to change but currently consists of:
- Blues Brother Salad (Seasonal Greens with sliced tomatoes and Julian carrots with housemade Balsamic vinaigrette or Ranch dressing)
- Citrus Marinated Chicken Breast
- Rice Pilaf
- Vegetables of the season
- Bourbon Bread pudding

The dinner was full of fun and thrills! The food was good (portions could have been bigger) and the show was entertaining. We topped off the evening downstairs at the House of Blues patio bar with a live band. All in all was a fun night!

Tip: River Island Adventures and Little River Fishing Fleet!!

Omg...this was the worst experience of our trip. Directions were terrible. Paid almost $50 a ticket, not worth $10. We arrive just before show started...got lost. Food was cold and not dinner theater worthy. Couldn't hear performers. Would have given it less than 1 if I could. Do not waste your money.

As an actor in the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre for 16 years, I have met and talked with many people from all over the country who attended. We actors sit at the tables with the patrons and are only "outed" once our character is called on by the detective. So, we have many conversations during dinner, and hobnob with the customers as they leave. I hear so many compliments--people who say they had a great time and we gave a great show. I always have fun acting in the many roles I've performed and if the actors have a good time, usually so does the audience!

Start with the dinner. Marinated Chicken Breast was by far, the worst ever, so dry and tough i couldn't cut it with the butter knife given. Informed server i couldn't eat it, no offer to bring another one out. Our table asked for more dinner rolls and our server said no even though we just saw another table ask for the same and they got them. After this, lost interest in the murder mystery. I certainly will not be paying another $50.00 per person for this event

Extremely fun event and night! I would reccomend this show for anyone visiting and locals! The show changes every month, along with the cast. The food was tasteful and healthy and the show is fun and entertaining! It makes you think most the way through, until close to the end, they start giving you more details. Must do! Go and see this dinner and show. It sells out more often then not so get your tickets in advance. I was lucky enough to submit one of the top three answers. They give you a little gift for winning. Go go go!
