"Fun For All Ages"
July 2019 NEW
My husband and I took our two boys; age 7 and age 4 this past week. We were hesitant on booking considering the price and we were worried our 4 year old wouldn’t sit still long enough for the pre-show let alone the actual dinner and show. However, that was not the case! Both of our boys sat through it all without any problems. I know kids can get antsy pretty quick. Everyone was so fun and welcoming from the moment we entered the building. The show was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious! We did the 1:00 show and ate a light breakfast. So glad we did, because you will not leave their hungry. My husband and I are so glad we took the plunge and purchased the tickets. It was worth every penny. We’re home from vacation and our boys are still talking about it and playing pirates. We highly recommend this to all!

"Great Show!"

We have been to most of the Dinner Shows in the Myrtle Beach area throughout the years and so we took our 11 & 18 year old grandsons to this one this year. It was great and they loved it and the food was amazing! It was very entertaining! I couldn't find tickets on the Pirates Voyage website and Tripster came up. It was so easy!

We liked this so much last year that we went again this year. We had front row seats in the Crimson Section, and we sat stunned at the performance. Just for easier admission, seat upstairs as you watch the pre show, and it is so much easier to enter the auditorium!

We enjoyed the Pirate Voyage a lot! There were a lot of high energy performances to see within the show: aerial, diving, fire, juggling, animals, and a tasty meal. A couple areas that could use improvement: I thought the male/female captain love story was silly, the crimson staff rallied the guests much more than the sapphire, Salty the sea lion seemed very reluctant to perform, the pirate dialogue needed improvement.

"Sea lion malfunction!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed July 17, 2019 NEW
First of all, the meal was good and what we got to see of the show was good. About 2/3 of the way through the program, they brought out two sea lions. I have no idea for what purpose, because immediately the show stopped for a little over a half an hour. We were sitting in section N5 and whatever was happening with the sea lions was on the other side of the arena out of our view. There was no explanation. Our first clue that something was wrong, the Captain character and the quartermaster character started staring to where we last saw the sea lions and began obviously adlibing. We had a two and a three year old with us and the inactivity was wearing on them. They became restless. Eventually, I asked a server what was happening and she gave a very short, matter of fact answer. Never did anyone offer an explanation, apology or compensation for the incomplete show. I thought the entire episode was handled very unprofessionally. Since we didn’t know what else to do, we joined the crowd leaving. Pay a lot and attend at your own peril! This incomplete debacle cost us almost $400. What a disappointment.
