"Extremely Entertaining!"
April 2019
My family stopped in Myrtle Beach as part of our vacation and booked this through Reserve Direct without any problems. Even though our seats were labeled as standard we all had a great view of the show. Let me clarify something here, there is a pre-show before the main dinner show in which you are not assigned seats. However, for the main show you do have assigned seats. This pre-show is more of a first come, first served, basis so It is recommended to arrive early. It is a bonus but extremely enjoyable to watch. Unfortunately, we had tire troubles on the way there (we were coming from out of town) and weren't able to arrive early. It was difficult to get a good view of this pre-show because we couldn't find a seat. The pre-show was very impressive....juggling, and a young man did the limbo lower than I've ever seen anyone go. Incredible. There was more but it had already started by the time we arrived.
When it was time for the main show everyone was escorted into the adjacent room and helped to find their seats which were located on the ticket stubs. For this, as I mentioned earlier, everyone had a great view.
The show was awesome! Acrobatics, sword fights, a fire show, animal shows, you name it, very enjoyable and entertaining.
The food was very good as well. It just kept coming. It started with soup and a roll, then chicken, pulled pork, potato, corn and dessert. They also offer some alternatives for those on a special diet. My son is allergic to nuts so he had a different dessert and decided to skip the soup which is processed in a facility that also processes nuts. The servers were all efficient and professional as well as courteous.
Last year we went to a Medieval Times dinner show and thoroughly enjoyed it (our knight won)! For this reason we decided to try out the Pirates Voyage. We were not disappointed. Yes, it is expensive, but how often do you get a chance to create lasting family memories? A great show and a great choice for entertainment.

We had a wonderful time. The performers were very entertaining--nonstop. Everyone should go while they're in Myrtle Beach. Just be prepared for too much food. Even my husband couldn't finish his plate. Go hungry.

"Vegan Meal was Ridiculous"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed May 20, 2019 NEW
My family wanted to go here during our family vacation - we called ahead to see if they could accommodate my vegan diet. We were assured that they could, and I even had a special ticket that said "vegan meal" right on it. This is what they provided for a vegan meal: 1 4oz Dole fruit cup Unseasoned steamed mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots) Another 4oz Dole fruit cup. That's not a meal, and I left hungry. I would have preferred they just say they can't provide a vegan meal, so I could have been prepared and eaten beforehand. Honestly though, if I had done more research I would have made my family go somewhere else. I did not know there would be animals in the show, and they made my family and I uncomfortable. For one part of the show they had a few kids go onstage, let some geese out of a box, and just had the kids chase them across the stage. Cruel, and not entertaining. I'd avoid this place and spend your money on something else.

"Cheesy, but fun."
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed May 15, 2019 NEW
This place is great. It's nice, cheesy, family-friendly fun. The food is plentiful and very good. We came away stuffed. The songs are lip-synced, but when you see all the tumbling, rope climbing, and acrobatics they do, you understand why they are lip-syncing. They involve the crowd and often ask kids to get involved. They even have sea lions, which is very cool (and was unexpected). I highly recommend, especially if you have kids.
