My family and I went on one of their trail rides last week. We have done trail rides with other places before. And we were completely in shock when the “guide” repeatedly punched his horse in the face when he could not get back in the saddle. And, once he did, the horse looked terrified, eyes huge, when he again started repeatedly punching the horses’ neck. Never have I been on a trail ride where the guide couldn’t get back on the horse. He had to have a ramp or fence to climb on. He said that the horse he was riding was his horse that he had gotten for his daughter. He also hit one of the other horses in the face when there was someone on the horse. Pretty scary. When we passed a field of horses, he told us that they were sick, needed shoes or were taking a break. He also told us that one of the horses died the night before. All of the horses looked so sad, filthy (even though our ride was pretty early in the morning), and not well cared for. The two horses we were on kept dragging their back legs and tripping at times. It was awfully sad. They also only have you ride the horses on dirt roads, not in the woods, trails, or fields. We have never, ever seen anyone treat a horse so badly and were very disturbed by what we saw.

"Horses are in poor condition"
October 2020
Guide was fun but the horses are not well cared for. I was heartbroken to see their appearance at my trail ride. Avoid! There are so many legit and humane riding facilities in the area. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

Tip: Get to the stable earlier than what they say cause there were a whole bunch of people checking in for more than riding horses like the zip lining feature.

The staff was super friendly, and we enjoyed ourselves. The only downfall was the people in front of us didn't know how to control their horses and slowed everyone down to a crawl.
