Is the Aston Place Theatre handicap accessible?
No. Guests must navigate 3-6 stairs to reach their seats. Elevators and escalators are not available at the theater.
What is the poncho section?
The poncho section includes many of the rows closest to the stage. Patrons in this area are given ponchos to wear, because sometimes materials splash the audience. These substances are washable, but we suggest that you do not wear anything that needs dry cleaning.
Is there a dress code?
No, however, comfortable clothing is recommended.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain time. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to showtime.
If I am sensitive to strobe lights, should I be concerned?
Strobe lights are used during portions of the show. If people sensitive to strobe lights decide to attend the show, they should alert the House Manager when they arrive.
Does the theater have security measures in place?
Yes. All guests and their bags are subject to security screenings and/or searches upon arrival at the theater. Weapons of any kind, regardless of permit, are not allowed in the theater.
Are snacks and drinks available for purchase?
Yes.
Is parking available?
There are two parking garages conveniently located at 403 and 410 Lafayette Street. Fees vary. It is recommended that guests take public transportation to the show.
