Millennium Downtown New York in New York, NY

The experience is not what I would expect from the millennium group. I judge hotels on how fast I can check in, so we arrived at reception {third floor more to follow} the only guest there, we were told to wait, no explanation. About 5 minutes later when he was ready to deal with us we had a very lack lustre interaction. Not great explanation on how there are two separate banks of elevators and wee needed to use the ones furthest away. The room was a fine, although if you are going to offer breakfast in your room perhaps supply 2 chairs. We had a light bite to eat at there bar, the food was very so so but the prices reflected a much better experience. Although the bar/ restaurant was not busy and they had 3 staff members on, we watched our drinks gently warm to room temperature before we got them. Service matched the blah receptionist. Ran out of shower gel the last morning, which is bizaree since the nail the containers to the wall and they are quite large. Staff that are around the entrance were very friendly and helpful. Finally as I mentioned reception is on the third floor, so when you arrive and leave you have to use the elevators twice to check in and check out, not like those old fashioned hotels that have reception conveniently for the customer when you come in. So in fairness to the hospitality staff there not the only problem with this hotel. Overall this has made me skeptical of staying at this groups hotels again, I certainly will read the reviews more closely next time.

I stayed at M Social during the blizzard in NYC in February 2026. The hotel facilities, rooms and staff were amazing. Unfortunatlely they were having an IT issue at checking in and subsequent treatment by the Reservations and management team has been absolutely diabolical. A month later I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded.6+ emails and involvement of my company legal team and I finally get a response to say I need to contact another team. This 'Front Desk' team's email doesn't even exist. I feel like I am being ignored whilst they're holding my deposit money and they're not escalating the issue. Their failure to address this is actually theft. It really would make me think twice to book here again due to the way they treat their customers and lack of action when it comes to refunding deposits. Due to the IT issues on this day I assume many others are in the same boat.

The service and courtesy of the staff were top-notch! The hotel's cleanliness and location are also top-notch! Additionally, the restaurant has either a DJ or live music in the evenings.

This was our 8th trip to NYC and we usually stay around midtown and have had lots of fun . We decided to do a different area and our corner room @ M social was amazing with beautiful views ( unfortunately it was foggy but we lucked out on our last night with perfection. Staff was kind and helpful. Our room was a little warm . We had the air on 65 but nada but I’m from Florida . Would absolutely stay here again ! Hubby had breakfast @ stagecoach EVERY morning . Taco 1 was also cheap Mexican street food !

They really went above and beyond. Very relaxing place to stay. They gave us robes and slippers. The in room coffee was fabulous too and I didn't have to go buy a cup each morning.
