Park Terrace Hotel in New York, NY

Best Hotel in NYC, close to all attractions ! When staying in NY, only in Parc Terrace. The rooms are so quiet, everything very clean. Thank you once again Arlett Jimenez for the friendly welcome an making our stay always so unique. Greetings Sonja and the whole family

Everything was top tier! Room, amenities, specifically lobby guys attention, Arlette was so kind and helpful, I’m definitely going back, this will be my second home every time I go to New York.

The Good: My room was very small, but well-organized for one person. It would have been very uncomfortable with two people. The bed was only accessible from one side, and I question whether two people could even stand in the room at one time. It would also be difficult to open the door to the hall or the door to the bathroom if two people were standing in the room, and there certainly would not be much room for two suitcases. But since I was alone, the space worked perfectly for me. The room was very clean, the finishes were high quality, the room was quiet (room in the back of the hotel and not under the 6th floor cocktail bar), the temperature in the room was easily controlled, and the bed was comfortable. The location was convenient for me. I would stay here again if in New York solo. The bad: When I arrived at the hotel door holding multiple bags, the doorman simply stared at me from inside the hotel. He did not attempt to help me open the door. It didn't even seem to occur to him that he might push the button that opened the door. I used my elbow to open the door. Once inside, the desk clerk eyed my suitcase suspiciously and asked if there was a dog in it (there was not). Not the warmest welcome! One of the two elevators in the hotel was broken and the one that was working was very slow. And when I left, I needed a cab. The front desk clerk offered to call one for me, which I accepted. Once outside waiting, I noticed that there was a fee for that service, so I cancelled and hailed a cab myself. I would've liked to have know up front about the fee.
