The location was great and I think this would be a good hotel for young 20/30 somethings traveling with friends. It seemed to have hip restaurants and a club on the roof (we did not go as we had our grandchildren 10/9 with us). The room is beyond small! Two beds foot to foot and a small walkway to a bathroom with glass doors so ZERO privacy here. There really is no lobby area to sit and relax. They did put drinks (soda and water) in the lobby in the afternoon and bananas, muffins, granola bars, and orange juice in the morning.

From the moment we checked-in, Letty and Gio were absolutely amazing. Letty & Gio greeted all of us with a friendly hello and huge smiles that just confirmed that we had indeed made the right choice in choosing to stay at the Times Square Moxy. Letty and Gio were extremely helpful and extremely kind. They both took the time to give us a great overview of the hotel, amenities and how to use the computer generated elevator system. We have already decided that because of the personalized customer service and the kindness that was shown to us by Letty & Gio that the Times Square Moxy is our go-to hotel in New York. Letty & Gio work so very hard and go above and beyond and are to be commended for the excellent work they do. The Times Square Moxy and Marriott Bonvoy is lucky to have such excellent ambassadors. Thank you again Letty & Gio, you’re the best and we will be seeing you again soon!😘❤️ Kathleen Nasevich From Philly Go Birds! and just for you Gio, Go Jets!🤣

"NO SLEEP TIL Brooklyn!!!"

Nice enough for a minute. Do NOT stay here if you’re expecting to sleep especially if you have kids. It’s basically like a hostel for anyone between 21-30. There’s no furniture in the room and the bed is shoved up against the wall so my husband had to climb over me to go to the bathroom at night. They’re going for a Scandinavian “look” and feel but it is anything but. I don’t understand how having fold up furniture makes this place sustainable. Lol and why can’t you put the bed in the middle of the room? Oh and I forgot to mention the DJ on the rooftop you will not be able to sleep until the club closes. You can hear it loud and clear and we were on the 5th floor. The club closes at 4am and it’s ridiculously LOUD!!!! Horrible we will not be back.

"Fantastic location, nice staff, but room lacks several basics."

I’m not particularly choosy or negative about hotels and relatively easily pleased. But while the location of this hotel is absolutely spot-on, in my opinion, despite a really comfortable and sizeable bed, the basics of our room here left an awful lot to be desired. I would add the tv was excellent for the brief spells we watched it (you could log onto your own Netflix), but you aren’t gonna be watching much telly five minutes walk from Times Square! We were allocated a “Queen” room. There were approximately ten pegs in the wall beside the television to hang clothes. No wardrobe, or chest of drawers. No seat to sit on other than the toilet. No kettle to make tea or coffee (we rang down for one and it duly arrived). There was some small space underneath on one side of the bed to store a few items, but we basically left our suitcases open to get our clothes daily. There was only one small bedside table. I rang to request a second one on my side, it wasn’t provided. I thought that was totally ridiculous as was the absence of anywhere to sit other than the bed or the bog. The shower was part of an open bathroom, so if someone needed an urgent toilet while one was in the shower, it was unavoidable to witness, visually or in terms of one’s sense of smell, that person using the bog. Neither my wife nor I would consider each other prudish, but I didn’t find a joint shower and toilet space particularly pleasant or necessary. Neither did I find a folding and transparent door between the toilet and sleeping area particularly hip or quirky or modern. I found that plain weird. The staff were pleasant, helpful and obliging despite my request for the small bedside table being refused. But as I say, while the location of the hotel is ideal, I think the room’s basics left an awful lot to be desired. I’d only stay here again if I was on my own. My wife hated it and I get that.
