This is NOT Gatorland but it is the most authentic Florida place I have been to in a long while. Two friends that had visited this site recommended it to me. It is located on SR 50 to the west of I95 by about 9 miles and just before Christmas, Fl. It does not have a lot of parking but has a very large concrete alligator across the front entrance. To enter you go around the large alligator statue mouth and into the gift shop. The staff was very friendly throughout the visit. The entrance prices range from $18-34 with lots of discount opportunities. Tickets include a nature explanation/show, an Native American show and tell, gator feeding and boat ride. They run groups through these 4 items in order so I would suggest staying with your group. The Kilted Conservationist was really knowledgeable and made sure everyone got their questions answered through all 4 parts. He was fun and the experience was very educational and enjoyable. There are lots of alligators of all sizes. There is a walkway that goes around the main enclosure. Be on the lookout for the panther, turtle, lynx and emus. Be careful of your footing as the wood planks are not all even and could be a trip hazard for some. I thought it was a wonderful experience and would recommend it to those that want a truly unique experience where they can hold an alligator or snake and see natural Florida.

My kids, husband and I enjoyed our time there. It has a old Florida, natural feel in the park. The tour guides and stuff were very helpful, friendly, informative and kept the presentations fun for my younger kids. We all enjoyed feeding the baby gators and other animals in the park. Our favorite part was watching our tour guide get in the lagoon with the large gators and interact with them while feeding them. Great value for the price you pay. Also enjoyed the fact that it wasn't crowded like other parks would be.

This place is a dump !!! A HOT mess !!! $25- admission, worth $10-. Wooden walks are potentially dangerous, loose & rotting, as well as the bridge, which in places was not attached to it's supports ! Saw everything in 15 minutes. Lots of gators, 1 primate ( social animals), 1 panther, 1 lynx ( enclosures too small ). Not a member of Association of Zoos & Aquariums. (Less than 10% of animal parks are members as they can not live up to the high standards ! )Terrible a Rip Off This is a for profit business none is being put back into the park !!!

This is not a good place to visit. It is very run down and has seen better days. I would consider some of the walk ways that lead throughout the facility dangerous and a safety hazard especially to the young and elderly. The animals, what very few of them there were besides alligators, there were plenty of those to be seen, did not seem to be very cared for and their enclosures were dirty and not maintained. We saw a Puma that was constantly pacing back and forth in a too small enclosure and this seemed to be border line cruelty. There are better places to go take a moment to look them up.

I thought this was going to be really hokey, but it was actually very good and interesting. We saw hundreds of gators living in a lagoon, got to hold a baby alligator, and a tarantula. Ryan, the guide, was funny and shared lots of interesting info about gators. Price was very reasonable, especially for vets.
