"Workers did not care."

We went to the Fun Spot 10 years ago and again in March 2020 and wow it has grown! There's now rollercoasters and an alligator sanctuary. We went for the Go-Carts but had many other things to entertain us! The park itself was really great. All the rides were very rough, and my neck was in so much pain by the end of the day. The biggest issue I had with the Fun Spot was the lack of care the worker's had. I saw SEVERAL kids who purposely ran other people into the walls of the Go-Cart tracks and who squirted innocent passerby's with water in the bumper boats areas; the workers saw all of this and didn't say a word to the kids or parents. There needs to be some sort of penalty system (like a 3-strike system), because some of those kids should have been kicked out because they ruined my family's experience. Also, every worker (except for the ticket sales ladies and the woman who ran the music train) blatantly hated their job. I got several eye rolls when I asked questions to them and never once got a smile or a welcome to any of the rides. Most likely will not return. I'd rather spend the money and go to a higher-end park like Universal.

My boys are theme park junkies and just had to experience the Fun Spot. We showed up on a Sunday evening about 8pm. The park was pretty quiet. If you want a deal and don’t mind going in the evening I believe after 9pm the wrist band cost cuts in half. The Fun Spot is not a cheap place but if you go on several rides it’s worth the cost. My boys favorite ride was White Lightning, the reason we came to the Fun Spot. Our other favorite was the go carts. The best go carts tracks we have ever seen or been on. If you want a bit of fun without the large theme park price tags this is the place for you.

"Fun place but watch your account afterwards "

Great time with lots of things to do for the whole family. Not so busy when we were there so we didn’t have lines to the rides, that was positive. Lots of thrills for all ages. Negative: My kids on 7 and 4 loved it and we bought wristbands after 9 o’clock so we were supposed to pay 30$ each (60$) but when I came home to Norway and checked my bank account I actually paid 95$ which is not acceptable, so watch out for this!

Frequently Asked Questions about Fun Spot America Theme Parks

Do you offer strollers?
Yes, Scooterbug Mobility provides stroller rentals for parents of small children or infants.

What are the height requirements?
Height requirements for the rides are located on the park maps. They offer Coasters, Go Karts, Thrill Rides, Family Rides and Kiddie Rides that vary in height.

How much does it cost if I am not riding anything?
Our Free Admission means that there is NO cost to come in and watch others enjoying the rides. So if you are not riding, you are not paying. It is Free!

Do I need an armband if all I am doing is driving my child on the go-karts?
If a child is not tall enough to drive themselves on a ride/go-kart, then someone over 16 may drive them IF the driver has either an armband (54+) OR a Chauffeur Armband which only permits you to drive a child and only drive a child on rides they could not do without an adult. The cost of a Chauffeur Armband is only $9.95 to be purchased at the gate.

Is the arcade included in my armband?
Because you can win prizes the more you play certain arcade games, we do not have any unlimited arcade. With our arcade, you pay per game with a Fun-E Card you purchase. Game prices vary from $.25 to $2.00.

Is the SkyCoaster included in my armband?
The SkyCoaster is a unique, one of a kind ride. To ride the SkyCoaster by yourself, it costs $40 and NOT included in the armband.

What happens when it rains?
Many rides stay open in the rain. If heavy rains occur or there is lightning, this will determine if the rides close. They will offer you a rain check if you had the Armband for less than 90 minutes.

Can I bring my own food?
Guests are allowed to bring their own Birthday Cake if they are having a Birthday celebration. Otherwise, outside food or drinks are not allowed in the park. Fun Spot America offers food options at the park for purchase.

Can I leave and come back?
With Free Admission, you may come and go as often as you would like. The Armbands are good until Midnight.

How much is it for my baby?
For anyone who is not doing the rides, the park is free. We do not recommend our rides for any child under 24 months. If your two year old want to ride the carousel ride, they offer a ticket for $3. Please check height requirement for rides before making a purchase.

Do you offer assistance for guests that have difficulty walking?
Yes, Scooterbug Mobility provides electric scooter rentals on a first come, first served basis.
