One of the best places we went to on vacation!! There is so much more than gators here. They have many other animals, petting zoo, zip line, rides, etc. We need to come back just to see/do everything.

The park was clean and staff was friendly, comical, and knowledgeable about animals. The kids wanted to see alligators and there were plenty there to see. The shows were really good and educational. The discounted tickets really helped, will definitely revisit next trip to Florida.

This was our family’s first trip to Florida and we were so happy to make the decision to visit Gatorland!! The park has tons of shaded areas, fans, water fountains and a spray park which helped with the 105 degrees. The staff were well educated and appeared to enjoy their work! If we visit Florida again we will definitely return to Gatorland!!!

"Fun fun fun...but..."
June 2019 NEW
My two year old had a great time. As did mom and dad. Nice, clean and not too big. If you want to see gators you will see an abundance (among other animals). Crew doing shows were fantastic. I would say the only draw back would be the entry. They do not have a separate entrance for those that already had tickets. Additionally buying off of a non-Gatorland site such as this is frowned upon. They make it quite difficult and will only accept printed tickets. We ended up having to buy through Gatorland to get in.

"Gatorland is Great"
June 2019 NEW
We had a blast at gatorland. This was our 2nd visit and our friends first. Ever since we went a few years ago we have been wanting to go back and recommend it to everyone. It really shows another side of Florida beyog the glam and glitz of the amusement parks.this place is good old fashion fun from the cool shows to machines that make wax Gators.

If you want to have people blow smile at your two year old as you stand in line this is he place. We left and asked for a refund and only got partial back. Never coming back when we visit Orlando.

"Nice day out, but .........."

Really enjoyed our day here, a welcome relief after the very busy Disney and Universal parks. The only issue we had was with the alligators being dragged out of the water, having their mouths taped up and then having to put up with children (and adults!) clambering on their backs to have photos taken!

The reviews and info for here says spend at least 3 hours. We spent just over 2, nearly 1 of which was queuing for the train. An hour to queue for what was quite a disappointing train ride, not really bringing the park to life. The gators are very interesting and the show we saw was ok. But for our age kids once they had seen the gators they were happy to go. There are other bits we didn’t do, as the prices were expensive for a family of five. Once you have paid to enter, you are the charged again if you want to ride the zip wire or the off road safari. I don’t mind extras but the charges were 50% of the admission which is too much in my book. I will say that for younger kids there was what looked to be a good splash park. Not sure would recommend

"Fun zipline... not enough for a full day"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

We went ziplining for the first time at Gatorland.. it was pretty awesome. Staff were very patient and despite my fear of heights, I felt safe and manage to zip line and even enjoy it. Our lunch was surprisingly enjoyable as there was a live musician. We did not care for the one show we saw where the gators jumped in the air - way too corny and cliched. My kids really enjoyed the bird exhibit. We also all enjoyed the nature walk path and trying to find wildlife. Overall, a pleasant surprise - although I would say there isn't enough there to fill up a whole day (it's good for a low key day relative to the big parks)"

"Gatorland was AWESOME!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed it here! Honestly the price and initial pictures we saw we weren't expecting much. But, we were pleasantly surprised. The place is huge! There are so many pathways and boardwalks which you are always surrounded by swamps. It was not only beautiful but every step you took there was always a opportunity to witness a different animal. We ended up spending over 3 hours there and got a good work out in while walking around the whole park. The shows were cheesy but I think that was the point of the shows. We didn't add any of the optional add ons (feed the gators etc.) but didn't feel like we really missed out on that it was more entertaining watching other people do it. We wish we would have done the zip line since it looked like a great experience and seemed to be worth the money. The only critic is the gators did have very small enclosures and wish they provided them a better area. We will be back next year when we visit again!
