water. Then head on over to the Up-Close Encounters Show where you can expect to find the unexpected!

An expensive day out, quite a disappointment, old and tired, not up to the usual polished professional shows and parks. Would not recommend.

"First experience Zip-lining"
October 2019
I went to Gatorland as a kid and remembered loving it so now I've taken my kids, this is their third time, they absolutely love it. This time we went specifically for the zip-lining. Kids ranging in age from 11 - 15 they had a great time. An experience they will always remember.

Tip: If you get the Groupon for admission/zip lining don't expect to use it right away. You have to make reservations for zip-lining. I wanted to make sure we could get in before purchasing then I bought the Groupon and it did not become available until the next day. Gatorland was great about letting me cancel the ziplining without penalty.

"A good trip back in time"
October 2019
Gatorland reminded us of places we visited growing up. No fancy neon, electronics no buy his shirt etc at every stop. Good entertainment at a great price, very family oriented, defiantly would recommend for family. Very refreshing after a day at one of he major theme parks, also great price also needed after day at major park.

"Great Experience - bring lots of dollars in change (hidden costs for feeding etc)"
September 2019
Unique experience which is worth doing but lots of hidden costs for extra things - feeding birds, holding baby alligators, feeding them etc - can all add up. Worth getting the package deal but still costs for separate activities. (no package includes everything)
Shows were good and water park was good fun for the children and ideal for a cool off. Can spend at least six hours there doing everything and having a bit of lunch.

Tip: Bring cash/change with you to buy animal feed - watch out for the greedy birds :-) !

"I hope the zipline adventure is better than the webite experience"

The website purchase is horrendous. It took over an hour to purchase advanced tickets for the zipline. It is easy to chose a date and time, and add it to you cart. Before you can checkout you have to fill out more information than a loan application. I added a zipline for each person in my family and tried to check out. I got some cryptic error so I started again. Turns out, you have to add each family member. They want a name, email and password for each family member. The worst thing is the form to add people to your family goes off the screen so you can't see what you are supposed to fill out. I only carry a laptop on vacation, and it doesn't have a 27" screen. This is just bad programming. The first couple times I tried to buy tickets was on my mobile device. I couldn't get past the cryptic message which I later figured out was to add all the information for each family member. HINT, use the TAB button on your computer to find the other fields to fill out. When I finally added them all, and got paid up, I received an email receipt. It instructed each of us to go to a link and fill out the waiver in advance. I tried to click on the link, nothing happened. I right clicked on the link, and it turns out the whole page is a image. Who wrote this website? I've seen better websites written by children! Even if I did fill out the waiver in advance, I don't carry a printer on vacation, who uses printers these days anyways? I am hoping that the park experience will be better than the ticket purchasing experience. I'm sure that it took longer to purchase tickets than the attraction (zipline) will last. I should have just paid the extra $20 and bought tickets when we get there, I certainly could have earned more than $20 in the last hour+ that it took to purchase them online. One last thing, when I called to asked how to get through the website, they had a message saying they were not in the office. That was on a weekday at 2:30pm, they are open until at least 5pm.

"Fun even in masks"

Gatorland was great. They were amazing when it came to covid 19. Masks were required and we did wear them in the extreme heat. We recommend drinks and staying under shade in masks. The train ride was sanitized after every ride. That was a ton of work for the employees but they did it and still were happy. The gators were everywhere. Our kids loved feeding the gators fish. 3 fish for $5.00. Our trip lasted about 3 hours then the kids were done. We would have stayed longer if they had gone in the splash pad. Overall happy experience.

"Unexpectedly good"

Wanted to do something besides the usual parks, so we went here for the zip line. They have a really good deal right now, 50% off their regular price of $69.99 but only until the end of June. However, I don’t think I would pay full price for it. This price includes the entrance fee. The park was surprisingly nice. It’s shaded so it’s not so hot during the summer heat. We were just going here for the zip line but discovered all the other parts of the park. If you have little ones, bring swim suits. They have a splash park that kids will definitely enjoy. The park is not that big and you’ll be able to complete the whole park in half a day without the zip line. Teenagers enjoyed feeding the gators but I think it’s actually more fun watching them eat. Every staff, even the zip line staff, were wearing a mask. The staff sanitizes the ticket counters after each use. Signs are everywhere for 6 feet distancing. They were all religious with those masks even with the summer heat!!! All of us had our masks on & it was hot, so I definitely commend them for using it. Zip line had 5 sections & a surprise at the end. It was a good trip & they enjoyed it.

We had a party of 5 that was myself my husband (35), my mom, (63) and 2 11year olds. I love gators so I have been planning a trip to Florida for years. I finally came this year. Even though we came during the COVID restrictions, we still had an amazing time. The Zip line was terrifying and wonderful at the same time. The food and gift shops were priced right. We fed the gators and watched the shows. It was really a dream come true. Everyone was so nice and so funny! Great place!

"Great alternative to normal Orlando parks."
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed June 13, 2020 NEW
We went here fresh off the COVID pandemic so some of this may only apply temporarily. I will start with what I thought didn’t work well. In a time where social distancing is a high priority there were a few places they fell short. Pearls Restaurant (also where the restrooms are) and the Park’s gift shop were horribly crowded. I understand you want customers to buy crap so you funnel them through the gift shop upon exit. This part made me extremely uncomfortable. Another area that needed improvement was the restrooms. We used restrooms at both ends of the park and they were pretty gross. I watched employees clean pin pads after each transaction, which was a plus, but that was cancelled out by the dirty restrooms. When you visit, be sure check out the free shows. We saw the Up Close Encounters and the Legends show. They are about 15 mins and are pretty cool for the kids. So what went well? My family (11 and 6) did the zip line and the Adventure Hour where you feed the gators and take a picture. This was a cool experience and my kids loved it. I want to give a caution on the zip line though. There is a good chance smaller children will get stuck on the line and need the guide to rescue them. This is easier said than done but try to keep them calm. We ordered the photo package which was very expensive because it was the first time our kids had done this. The Adventure Hour is $10 and is a great value but moves pretty fast. We were told we could take our own pics but there’s such a crowd of onlookers that it became difficult. Then you’ll get blocked by the photographer. We had to get the pro photo here. We did manage to get a few videos ourselves though. Overall this is a great alternative to things not run by a mouse. Check it out. You’ll be glad you did.
