The upside-down, interactive attraction feature 50,000 square-feet filled with more than 100 exhibits. This is the first WonderWorks attraction to open in Myrtle Beach with other locations in Orlando, Florida and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The exhibits at WonderWorks feature state-of-the-art graphics and techniques to create immersive environments parents and children can both enjoy. A few of the exhibits WonderWorks visitors will find include the WonderWall, where guests can make 3D impressions of themselves; Design and Ride Roller Coasters; and Shuttle Landers, where guests can try their hand at landing the Discovery Space Shuttle.
WonderWorks opened the Soar & Explore attraction at Broadway at the Beach in 2010. The outdoor attraction has a Zipline Adventure and Ropes Challenge Course. The zipline is the first and only zipline in Myrtle Beach and the only zipline in the east coast to traverse over water. The ropes course has a pirate theme and features 33 different challenge elements and obstacles.
An indoor/outdoor café is also planned for WonderWorks. “The Works Eatery” will serve pizza, sandwiches and salads and will also have a full bar.
