It’s no surprise the beach is the biggest attraction in Myrtle Beach.
With over 60 miles of white sandy beaches available, it’s the highlight of any Myrtle Beach vacation. But, once you’re ready to explore the rest of the Grand Strand, head to Broadway at the Beach. It’s South Carolina’s largest entertainment complex and offers something for everyone, from family-fun attractions to themed eateries and niched shopping. Plus, the atmosphere can’t be beat as Lake Broadway meanders throughout the complex, creating a natural feel amidst the modern things to do.
Two of the top attractions at Broadway at the Beach are Ripley’s Aquarium Myrtle Beach and WonderWorks. Both are great for families, as adults and kids alike can enjoy the aquatic allure of the aquarium and interactive exhibits at WonderWorks. The biggest tip I can give you for both Myrtle Beach attractions is to arrive early, especially during the summer season, as you’ll have more expansive views of the aquariums and there will be less of a wait for some of WonderWorks’ most popular interactive attractions, like the WonderSimulators.
Another recommendation for things to do at Broadway at the Beach is zip across Lake Broadway

with Soar and Explore. Their zipline adventure can also be combined with a pirate-themed ropes course challenge, which is really popular with kids.

One of my favorite shops to explore at the Broadway at the Beach Entertainment Complex is Retro Active. Its home to pop culture items from the 70s, 80s and 90s. If you love spicy food like I do, stop by the Pepper Palace. They have a huge assortment of sauces and salsas to tempt your taste buds. The Black Rose Hot Sauce and Pappy’s Moonshine Madness barbeque sauce are two of my favorites. If you’re looking for a unique souvenir stop by the Boardwalk Winery. They make, label, and sell their own brand of wine. It’s like taking home a vacation in a bottle.
