New LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park Opens; Customers Save $5 per Ticket through Tripster

Merlin Entertainment, owners of LEGOLAND, have partnered with Tripster to sell tickets to their new theme park, located just north of Orlando, Florida. For a limited time, Tripster is offering LEGOLAND Florida tickets with an exclusive $5 discount – a savings unavailable through any other source.

LEGOLAND Florida, a massive 150-acre interactive park featuring 10 different “lands,” all of which have their own theme, officially opens October 15, 2011. LEGOLAND offers more than 50 interactive attractions, rides, shows, and restaurants specifically geared to families with children ages 2 to 12.

Tripster specializes in travel reservations to individual destinations, acting as a “local expert” for customers looking for hotel and lodging reservations, theme park, attraction and show tickets specific to a particular region. In this case, LEGOLAND Florida joins other Orlando-based Theme Parks on Tripster.com and the destination website will serve as an additional channel for customer sales for the new Florida theme park.

Utilizing the latest in internet-based technology, Tripster interfaced their reservation system with LEGOLAND Florida’s ticketing system, allowing customers to purchase LEGOLAND tickets through Tripster.com. Customers simply print their E-tickets, complete with barcode generated by LEGOLAND, and scan them at the main gates for hassle-free admission. The seamless ticketing integration saves time and allows customers to book other area travel along with their LEGOLAND Florida tickets.

“We are pleased to partner with LEGOLAND in their new venture in Florida. This is a top-notch park, and travelers and local residents alike are really going to enjoy it,” stated John Johnson, president of Tripster. “We appreciate the trust LEGOLAND has placed in our company and look forward to helping make them a success in the Orlando market.”

Tripster has provided booking engine technology since 2001 for a number of U.S. destinations including Branson, Missouri; Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee; Orlando, Florida; Williamsburg, Virginia; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and the Hawaiian Islands.
